Yup. I really wanted AVB to succeed but it just isn't working.

I do not want Sherwood. We need someone with experience.

I would imagine it would be a temporary role until they select a new manager and if that's the case surely far better to make an early change than have AVB as a lame duck manager while they find a replacement. Personally I'd be happy enough if they give Freund the short term role, he looks to get on well with all the players and was supposedly highly thought of as a coach in Germany so no reason he couldn't hold the reins for a few weeks
