Hamsik the one who plays for Napoli? I'd suggest Rakitic but El Dildo and Levy would likely kinghit each other or start making out furiously if they found themselves in the same room again.

Yeah that's the chap, odd looking bloke too so would replace Luka in that department :eek:

Highly unlikely though and Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis is a fucking loon so would be another pain in the arse to deal with, and yeah same goes for Seville there's no point us talking to them El Dildo must still feel sore after the Zokora deal :LOL:

Strootman on the other hand wouldn't cost the earth we know clubs in Holland don't make much these days.

'Because we can't afford strikers.'
'Because we can't afford strikers.'
'Because we can't afford strikers!!!'

Like a dagger through the heart, as we attempted to rise again from our depths of despair, first Rafa said he still loved us, then Ade said, 'Sure, i'll come play with you guys again...' but no, SO CALLED Happyspur made us all SAD SPURS with a ruthless financial analysis. Say it ain't so, Happyspur, say it ain't the Heskey loan, not the Heskey loan, for...the...love...of...God:

PLEASE NOT THE HESKEY LOAN!

Yeah. I guess that needs a qualifying statement. We can't afford the strikers too many look for here. We can afford young kids and last year contract stikers. We could have afforded Cisse (but I never liked him under Harry's system). We have to find those types.

btw, Akqa tweet Re: VDV and RVP was done via iPhone and on the iPhone it looks like this:

VDV =Yid
RVP = Wanker

I know it seems you've covered it but just to confirm.

Kerist, he really looks like Steven Tyler in that pic. Haven't heard of Strootman. Tricky little customer like Luka or more like a Hamsik/Rakitic. Bit of a size about him?

The fact that we are still "negotiating" with Shitty over Adebayor proves that there is no investment, whether from Middle east or from the money Levy kept hidden from Arry.

Nope. Much more to do with whether AVB believes he will be a 'team' player. I think he will be (he already HAS been) and I think AVB will have concluded this too, but he's just making sure that every single player at the club in the squad is there for the TEAM and not the personal glory. I think it will still happen, no worries, just being thorough...

Just read all the ITK for the day.........pretty miserable stuff, but there is always tomorrow. Ok JJ went out on a limb and the deal fell through, hardly a criminal offence and sure he will be back with his normal credible info. Hope Ade is wrapped up as suggested and we are still in the hunt for a Mod replacement. Other strikers could be an issue though and would like to see progress here sooner rather than later.

TBF I wouldn't be unhappy if we didn't sign make anymore signings and utilised the squad more, I think if we may even be stronger than we were last season

Kevin Strootman is his name (another odd looking geezer actually), plays for PSV and is now breaking into the Dutch national team. ManYoo have been linked for a while but not many stories about him so far this summer. He's a central playmaker, over 6ft and can stick a boot in, quite different to Luka in style though won't see him dropping a shoulder etc. He just seems to fit our type of player, not quite the finished article yet (but highly rated) therefore affordable for Mr Levy.

Maybe I'll try and get an opinion from JJ or AK about him don't have twatter though will have to find some mug to do it for me.

Anyway I'll probly get a virtual kick in the nuts for going off topic soon so I'm gonna go make a quick visit to youjizz before bedtime! Goodnight.

If we don't secure the strikers we want it'll be an chance for someone else - our youth strikers should see the opportunity that presents and grab with with both hands.

On the flip side, putting too much pressure on a talented, but unprepared youth can knock his confidence greatly and possibly setback his career. Even though I hope that Kane will be a premiership quality striker one day, I do not want to have him as our back up striker this season for the reason mentioned above.

Of course I am not AVB and I could be totally wrong and Kane or Coulibaly could be ready for that massive step up this season. But I doubt it - I can see Kane getting some minutes, but nothing too pressured.

I reckon Souleymane Coulibaly would outscore this Niang fella in the French leagues.

It's our turn to bring through a top quality striker isn't it? Or do we only do a top CB every decade?
