It would be interesting to see what AVB's ins and outs list looked like at the start of the window compared to where he is now.
Can't remember which ITK it was but someone claimed to have seen it - anyone comment on how close we are to what AVB wanted from this window?

Thank god! Blue Monday re-released in 95 - was worried about the news that might be on the way after the weekend!

I still think we lack someone with vision to pick a killer pass...... I watched Eriksson influnence in Ajax win against Roda and I thought a very good addition if the last reported amount is EUR 10M. THe money from Dempsey can get him.

Gotta stay positive today no matter what happens.

If bale stays, then brilliant, we have the best player in the league for at least another season.

If he goes, I'm confident we will spent the money wisely on lamela and a few others.

Excited for the start of the season more than I have been for a long time. Everybody seems to be forgetting we've broken our transfer record twice and it's barely August, something we were all begging for at the beginning of June. The scum across the road have done fuck all.

I think we could find buyers for all those guys.

The reason I say I can't see us letting those guys go is because I don't think we can get quality replacements in time, as things stand at the moment I think if we get a CB in and no one else leaves I would consider us title contenders. Would Levy want to take the same kind of actions as he did when Ramos was here when we are that close to honours? Would AVB risk it? I'm not sure.

Bale did not train with Tottenham yesterday and stayed behind as the team travelled for today’s friendly with Monaco. And Bale - who has made it clear he has no intention of playing for Spurs again - expects chairman Daniel Levy to conclude a deal with the Bernabeu giants’ president after the weekend.
