I was just reading a bunch of Italian sites about Lamela. Has any itk said if we are acknowledging that Baldini met with Sabatini on Friday?

JJ is usually the calming voice in the room when we get way too excited so it is interesting and intriguing to seem him genuinely excited about what we will do when Bale is sold.

Personally I reckon jj's info is very positive.

If bale stays, then great, we have the best player in the prem.

If he goes, I took the post to suggest we would heavily reinvest in lamela or Suarez ( I hope).

Don't really care what happens to bale now, just want it sorted so I can concentrate on the palace game in peace....

I seriously dont understand what the hell is going on there, he ended the season at the same weekend as Holtby, yet returned earlier than him. Then we get info from LLM saying he is starting training last week despite him already played.

Also I think he will be loaned to La Liga but Almeria tried to get him and failed to get him off us and said it wasnt a possibility and loaned Suso instead!

Firstly, let me say that I really enjoy JJ jumping into these threads late into the evening (U.K. time), as it's still early enough for those of us in North America to still be awake!

Secondly, as I've said several times in the last week, JJetset's reputation and quality of information has no equal. Until he changes his tune on Bale leaving, I'll assume he will be off.

The key to this entire deal, as I've said since it first surfaced that Bale may go, is whether Madrid can convince Coentrao and Di Maria to come back to us. Coentrao, according to Marca, would welcome a move. He's on reasonable wages and a huge upgrade, so that would strengthen us greatly. Di Maria, according to reports, doesn't want to leave Madrid, but he'd be the most realistic and best option we could get to replace Bale.

JJ--Is there any sense from our side whether certain Madrid players would be willing to come to us? That, to me, will define whether this a good deal for us or not.

I'm sure that onion changes if Suarez goes to Arsenal.

And that's almost as big a problem as letting Bale leave us IMO unfortunately, we all know if we rinse Real Madrid they won't have enough for Suarez and the Arse'll probably get him - they need to show intent and spend some money or their fans will go even more mental, my worry is that he'll win them a lot of games when they perform badly like RVP used to.
I think most people agree that Suarez is next on the list for Perez if his number one target somehow goes astray, but the chances of that delicious combination seem low if JJ's so adamant.
It's such a bastard that losing our best player will probably give the Goons an excellent one, whereas keeping him will deny them.

It's confusing seeing the ITK's so split on this. Some who are usually accurate seem absolutely certain that he is staying, but to be honest I don't think any of them are as reliable as JJ is. As long as we reinvest the money I don't think it's a disaster if Bale leaves. I would imagine that in a deal like this there's still a significant possibility of it falling apart, sort of like our deals with Leandro did. We are after all talking about the biggest transfer in football history. I kind of doubt that the deal is completely agreed yet, I doubt Real Madrid has agreed to our terms yet. If the deal hasn't been agreed in time for us to get replacement players in for the start of the season, then we should call it off imo. We can't afford the type of crap that happened in the first couple of games last season, it cost us 4th place. If we make the same mistake this time I'll be pretty angry.

It's crazy especially with the team we stuck out sat! You should think he could have had at least made the bench
