To my own surprise I am pretty relaxed about the situation as:

1. Levy is the best negotiator in the business and will not be dicked around.
2. I would be most surprised if he will let Bale go without absolute confirmation of incomings.
3. I'm sure Bale has been made aware of our condtions of sale.

A "keep-the-gap" deal would make sense for both MU and Chelsea to make their top-3 spots more secure from us and Arsenal.
