HARRY EXCLUSIVE! - Spurs Community can now reveal that Harry Redknapp actually handed in his letter of resignation last season.

It's taken the Spurs board this long to work out what it said.

Good morning ITK freaks. And finally, the crescendo of ITK reached its climax (as did Dan Ashcroft) and it happened. Harry Redknapp has gone. Official. The first man ever to buckle under the pressure of the England managers job without actually having it has left the club. thank you for the good times Harry.

I call on All SC'ers to join me in tribute to Harry by driving around today with your car window at half-mast.

Yesterday, the site got so busy when the Harry news broke that we started crashing and for a while people were unable to access the site or it was running really slowly. Rob upgraded the site RAM/Memory, but that didn't come cheap (£100), a few people were kind enough to donate and that was appreciated but we need more! So if you love your ITK and want to help SC out, please make a donation today, Look at the hours of fun you get. All the ITK in one happy location helping you idle away the working day and get away from 'er indoors when you get home. That's gotta be worth a few quid hasn't it?

The ITK started when Ryan posted this.......
Ryantegan said:
I cant see the smoke through all them flames.........BYE HARRY!
Which set us all up nicely for a day hitting F5

Then BEN got in on the act when he did a complete U-Turn
BEN said:
"Topic: Now i am told his gone!
BEN said:
getting told today !!
dont shoot the messnger!"
And...getting sacked yes thats what im told from top table.

Things were gathering pace........

Pablo on COYS put his testes on the line when he swam against the tide.......
Pablo said:
Being sacked?

definitely not..he's been on phone. very bullish after meeting

though all not well.........
in case you missed the post.

Harry is definitely not going any time soon

Who says?

that's what Harry says..he's pretty pissed off though, so not a happy bunny

A hard way to learn that you can't trust what Harry says.........

Then the news broke. See our appeal above for details. Jacob on COYS said......
Jacob said:
Moyes it is. Sleep well.
And he kissed us all on the forehead as he tucked us in.........

Some late night ITK from Akqayid
Akqayid said:
I did ask A&C to post this for me at 4pm UK as I'm now abroad.
Akqayid said:
NOTE FROM A&C: I can confirm this, apologies I was out and about and on a mobile device and only able to access SC for brief periods.

'replacement found' this was the text I got when I got of the plane or a wedding

Am now at said wedding of a golfer(didn't make US so had it this weekend in Europe), and the following people are here.....

Football agents
Golf agents
Golfers
Footballers
Agents of agents
One owner of a football club (PL)
One owner of a golf club

I'm an usher, I know pretty much everyone here. And following on from all my stuff yesterday when people questioned it...... But seems my man who flew here today from the US was right and is always right.

Harry wanted an extension yesterday - three year and a raise. DLsaid no. Stretford laughed: demanded he be made the highest top 4 manager in the world.... DL laughed. they walked out....

Levy said take it or leave it. No
Raise, one year rolling. Harry was asked to stay on the same terms, take it or leave it. Prove it and the have three years. There is also 'the' list that DL's advisors want/ed to sign

Lenandro &
Huntaleer

Are/were just two of the 'moneyball' buys/scout request/reccomendations, there is also a German, a Dutchman, and two French/Africans supposedly..... (you do the Math) and thats all I wa told about.

HR was interested in others (you do the math again)

So replacement..... As I said two weeks ago, senior, and very senior players have been spoken to by DL. And some have even met him/them before..... The names I have been given are

Moyles
Van Gaal
PG

The man DL really wants..... A German. A flying German. But unlikely. But Christ.... Even knowing that... The club wants this to be an upgrade.

And that was that.

In other news: Polish fans have been officially warned that if they cause any trouble during Euro 2012 they will be deported back to the UK.

Well I am glad Levy feels as down beat about the season as we do and probably feels the need to freshen up after lessons appear to not have been learned from the previous season.

I believe that Levy hasn't sacked Redknapp because he feels he's a bad manager, more because he wants to instill a longer term strategy, something that Redknapp clearly was not on board with when he admitted he could've gone this season.

Akqayid said Moyles, Van Gaal and PG? So we're having either Chris Moyles or Peter Griffin as our manager next season? god help us...

Classic..!
I don't think we'll rush into the appointment of the Manager - meaning I doubt it will be this week, probably next week ;-)

Pep guardiola mate.
On the same day Chelsea and Barcelona both give managers a two year contract we give ours the boot. Coincidence? Probably. But I'm hoping they did that cos they know PG is coming to the Lane. A guy can dream..

At least it's over.

Now let's move on.

I think it's only just began mate. For the sake of my own sanity, I've already lowered my expectations for the coming season. If we finish 8th that would be a success it seems!
Having said that we could get a new manager in and sign some players who want to play for our club and push on...............you never know but I feel time is not on our side. I just hope that the new manager will be accepting of DL targets!

The player's will be asking for transfers within a week with Van Gaal, they are used to a relaxed atmosphere.

Do we want players that are afraid of hard work and the pursuit of excellence? Strong and ambitious players like van der Vaart will thrive. The weak and causal will not like it, but that will clense us of our lack of winning mentality.

Agree...Someone committed with Premiership AND European experience. Someone who will keep us in top 4 or break into top 3 and challenging and not just attractive football and many seems to think!

Could the German be Low of Germany? Been with them a number of years and may seek a new challenge. Though surely he'd want CL football. Can't see guardiola

He is nothing compared to what we as fans are anticipating to get us to the next level. Short of Pep I cannot see anyone else who can keep our best nucleus of players and get top ones in.

Does that mean Ben does not believe Martinez is Levy's choice? Or did he start the topic and Martinez is what he has heard?
