looking at the latest RO, Van Gaal, PG or Moyes (assume PG is pep)

comparing Moyes to Pep is drawing the long bow

What's the "flying German" bit in reference to? It's late and I'm tired. Anyone? The only ones I can think of would be Loew, Klinsmann or Klopp. Klopp is my best guess due to how his Dortmond boys fly around the pitch, a la Spurs.

Think I'd rather Moyes than Van Gaal. I think the shortlist isn't going to be as long as those 3 names though. If Harry has gone, Levy must be pretty sure who is coming in.

Very interesting to see that it's finally official. Tis an uneasy time at Spurs. I wish Harry the best after all he's done for us, and I'm looking forward to getting behind whomever our new manager may be. While we can all dream of signing Pep, I don't think Moyes would do a bad job for us either. Time will tell...

Really? Van gaal's track record is as impressive as it gets. Every club he's managed has won theirr respective league atleast once. Not to mention he's won the champions league with ajax and played in the final of another with bayern. And he has an attractive style of attacking football that would suit us.
He's the obvious choice imo
I agree though levy must know who he wants.

Not to mention his full name is beyond epic: Aloysius Paulus Maria "Louis" van Gaal

He's also a 60 year old egomaniac. If people think Harry's rants with the media were partly to blame for Levy getting rid then Van Gaal is going to send him insane. I think Levy will be looking for a younger coach to try to be in it for the long term, i'm not sure that Van Gaal is that man. I have nothing against his achievements though but doesn't mean he'd be able to replicate that with us and in fact I think a fresher look on things might be preferable.

If he becomes our manager and we eventually win the league under him I seriously vow to name my firstborn after him. Even with the van gaal.

Fair enough. I agree a young fresh manager would be nice and that's probably what levy is looking for. If it were up to me, van gaal would be the man though ;)

Klinsmann clearly. You don't remember his dive bomb goal celebrations?
