Plenty of ITK, but lack of serious activity is now getting depressing. I swore to myself 2 weeks ago that at the latest, by Friday 15th July we'd have made a significant signing for other teams and fans to think, WAOH!!!. Running out of time, but Spurs often work to tight deadlines, so I fully expect this expectation to have been met by 11.59pm Friday 15th July.

Falcao and Hulk would be exciting, but guarantee nothing.

Hulk signed a contract extension a few months ago and is not available for anything under 50m, so no way were going for him.
Falcao has a buyout clause of 30 or 35m so could be possible and would be an amazing signing, but i think he's holding out for Villa Boas to take him to Chelsea.
Llorente also is an impossible one as Bilbao will not sell.
Etoo wouldnt come to us.
Rossi was a great oportunity but i fear he has chosen Juventus.
That leaves us with little to choose from as Vucinic would be good but also linked with Juve and there arent many more great strikers out there at the moment.
I hope DL can really pull off something special because it isnt looking too good at the moment.

25m double deal for Diarra and Granero anyone?

Diarra yes please, Granero definately not. Very overrated. He's got technique, but might as well keep Jenas and save 10m.
We could always make a cheeky bid of 40m for Diarra and Higuain if Madrid go after Aguero which has been in the Spanish press for weeks now. :hump:

Mourinho said he wants to add one striker to his squad not replace one. He wants 3 strikers so I doubt he'd sell Benzema or Higuain.

The buyout clause wouldn't necessarily have to be met though, they can and usually do, accept below that figure. Something like 60m for the 2 would be hard to turn down and would make one hell of a statement. There is money there to be spent. Well I've convinced myself anyway, so I will sleep happy.

True, but Mourinho also likes Adebayor so maybe they could get him cheap and have Aguero, Benzema and Adebayor and sell us Higuain.
I know its ridiculous but so long without signing a striker affects ones perception. :duh:

If you were Falcao would you go to Chelscum knowing they already have Torres and Drogba? Perhaps walking into a very attack minded team knowing you will be the main man could be a better option? Especially if your mate comes with you. But yes the Villa Boas link doesn't exactly help.

According to the article, we have bid for Granero to replace Modric which we have already said is not for sale so wouldnt think much of the article.
Anyway, replacing Modric with Granero is like replacing Gareth Bale with Phil Neville..

Was just making reference to the Granero ITK from RM, that was all.

harry has sadi all along they have set targets and know who they want. i dont believe for one second granero was on this list but i know diarra is. we and harry has been after him for long time. wud be brilliant signing. we are soft away from home sometimes hedef makes a difference and makes us stronger. i think granero one is iinteresting but prob bull although its always good to have options and considering we have people like jenas, wilson, bentley , krnajcar alll going it does not leave alot of options so if you look at it like that then it might happen
