Another day another rumour. Its like Cluedo in reverse or something. AVB, in the departure lounge, with an Agent. Add to that the plethora of theories about whoever being lined up for months etc and we're all suddenly playing 'whoizzit'. Is it wrong that whenever I order a MacDonalds drive through I like to pretend I'm Harry Redknapp talking to the press?

Anyway.......I woke up this morning and my wife was out.

There was a note stuck to the fridge saying, 'I can't cope, it's clearly not working, I'm going to stay at my mums'.

I don't know what the fat bint is talking about, I just felt the milk and it's cold.

The day's ITK began with a garbled message from BEN

TRANSLATION: Told Martinez is who Levy prefers......we will see
Then Noodles gave us a musical cryptic. Get in there.

So our new manager could be Al Martino or Englebert Humperdinck. If I were Levy I'd go for Englebert myself seeing as Martino died in 2009.

The Journalist filled us in with the why's and wherefores........But today we're not interested in what happened with Harry and reasons etc so here's the relevant bit........

Regarding new manager; I can only state what I was told when they thought he was off to England.

Was told with authority that Levy didn’t fancy Moyes; that was made clear. No explanations but that was it.

Deschamps was the man they wanted to lead a new coaching group.

Let's recap.......So far it's Martinez. And Deschamps.

Then there was more.........

Moyes not sure as he doesn't think club are in a good place at mo!

Martinez looks favourite closely followed by Blanc and Deschamps !!!

Moyes doesn't think the club are in a good place? Just goes to show having eyes wider than a fisheye lens doesn't mean you can see any better........But let's recap again.......So far it's Martinez. And Deschamps. And Blanc.

Then we had this........

After last nights news I sent this text " OK who is the incoming?" His response was " LOL they would put be in a concrete overcoat if it got out, sorry old boy, but I can tell you its pretty much sorted, he is experienced and Levy is planning for the future and longer term and he will be able to use the new training facilities LOL. Don't worry you will be happy"

The first part of the update was actually posted in yestertdays round-up.

Been told Monday for announcement but also got told a certain day for Verts, so..... But it's def AVB I been told
Also got told who the other signing that I said was to be announced was Suljemani, but that is not done yet and is the hold up with Verts. Didn't know why tho

AVB 100%. It's worth noting that Brownhead also gave us 'Leandro done' in January.

So where do we stand this morning? None the wiser.

Yesterday I took the wife to the doctors to sort out her tourettes. Turns out she doesn't have it....... I AM a **** and she does want me to fuck off!

I was also giving fatherly advice........I said to my daughter, "Emma, don't have any children until you're at least 25." She said, "Mum had me when she was sixteen!"

I said, "Your mum's a slag."

It gets worse............

Last night I got a text from my wife that said "I just beat my highest on Angry Birds! PS you're boring in bed."

As I was giving her one.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is that. I don't know what we're going to do today. Ooooh I've just had an idea! Why don't we fill the thread with chat about our why your favourite for the job isn't/is a good choice, sprinkle that with a dash of stuff about who your preferred candidate is and add two teaspoons of who you hope it isn't...........Yeah. lets do that, we haven't had any of that for the past week or two have we?

Nice round up again A&C. I think you're being a tad harsh where the AVB speculation is concerned though (mainly 'cos I was in on it!) as it was true ITK and, therefore, worthy of discussion within this thread.

Breezer's probably got missed because nobody put it in the Read Only. The Dutch geezer wouldn't give sources so he's been asked not to post 'ITK'

Last week Dennis Bergkamp was odds on favourite for the Swansea job at Skybet too. I think everyone has got carried away by some photo of AVB in an airport and put two and two together.

Exactly......the managerial markets are so volatile it only takes a few punts on one candidate for all odds to change really quickly.
