That bloody walkway proposal. This was the thing that was screwing us up about 2-3 years ago was it not ? The 17m needed to improve surrounding areas pavements, road sings etc and the new walkway from the station.

No, I'm pretty sure the walkway (or at least this version of it) only came in with the last revision of the plans. The trouble is, it's difficult to see how this grand conception can be realised without pissing off a lot of residents and demolishing a couple of buildings at the High Road end of Whitehall Road.

Not a sniff, mmm interesting

However would like to put on record that Deschamps would disappoint me, watching his side last season made me fall asleep. Seems a very negative coach.

Any chance potl could be Tim sherwood? JJSaid the other day that he was on holiday in Greece. Close to players and management? And if some stories are to be believed, close to Daniel.
Probably not, but few pieces fit together there

POTL preceded Redknapp and Sherwood arrival at WHL

Unlikely although possible that Sherwood could have had contacts at the club before he arrived - better possible solutions.

Marinez will definitely be the fall back option...

This Martinez stuff is probably just a red herring. It's in the Daily Mail again today. I would be amazed if it were him. And not in a good way either.

Yes, Harry really shouldn't have gone on the way he did about absolutely thrashing Joe at golf. Joe's touchy about that sort of thing.

I always thought that Joe didn't give much of a shit what we got up to.

Yeah, when I said fall back option - I didn't mean second choice as such, a good bit down the list more like ie if several other options didn't come off.

I doubt he's on the list at all (if there is a list, that is). I would sooner give the job to SpurSince57. And you can quote me on that.

I wouldn't be so sure...there is a line of thinking that some of the board like him...all speculation of course.

A moot point anyway as I would be surprised if he was a leading candidate.

Topyid on COYS re: Hoilett

Not signed for any one yet. Being touted about to the prem. 100% info know at least six prem clubs who want him. We have no deal or contact in place with him

I thought he was off to Gladbach.

To be honest I'm massively grateful for JJ's contributions, and if he wants to avoid sensitive questions I completely understand.

Of course we're understandably edgy at the moment. We're fans - we love this club and want the best for it. Right now we have no manager, no Champions League football thanks to the Chavs, and are in desperate need of some positive news.

JJ - and this is the last question I will ask you - have you anything to say that might lift the cloud of misery right now? I think we're all assuming the worst - Verts won't happen, and that Roberto 'nice but dim' Martinez wil oversee the next descent to mid-table mediocrity.

We need strikers as well :p

Agreed. Wouldn't excite me at all either. Don't really understand why he has so many strong advocates (though I'm perfectly open to persuasion if someone would like to try)

According to Harry, Joe and him fell out a over 2 years ago and they never spoke since.

If i recall the story that he was putting about was that Joe called him and told him not to play Robbie Keane. So Harry being his usual stubborn self played him and they havent spoken since!

Joe Lewis not involved eh......
