MVG unplayable right now

I have never seen Barney play better and he's 5-2 down in sets
Incredible game. Barney in bits after and saying that he's not good enough anymore. Which is bollocks. MVG is just on another planet. Even Taylor is his pomp wouldn't live with him. Going to be some final tonight.

MVG is simply unbeatable...
They were saying last night that he lost only 20 matches in the whole of 2016, and he played around 250 matches.
A 3 dart average over 100 is incredible, yet that's not enough to beat MVG in this tournament.

He is incredible, but let's be honest, it's boring seeing him tear top quality darts players to pieces.

Yes its not competitive any more. He's just so much better than anyone and he's got the mental side of his game sorted now. Better than Taylor ever was imo.

Early tomorrow the Presale for the PDC World Championship begins.
As I need four tickets I need access of a pdc.tv member to buy tomorrow.

I am desperately looking for someone with access, anyone in here? I can offer free beer before the Spurs v West Ham game :D

When MVG has won as much as Taylor has then I'll begin to believe he could be better...watched The Power destroy him the other night in the World Matchplay and tonight he's ripped Adrian Lewis apart to make the final against Peter Wright. His last appearance in this competition. I agree that the Dutchman when playing in top gear is unbeatable but for me the jury is still out when he's compared to Phil Taylor....just my opinion of course and time will tell.

It's great isn't it. No-one saw this coming. Completely deserved as he's right back to form, the Taylor of old.

As regards MVG, I mean his power scoring. When he gets into his stride, there's no-one can match him, for as long. He blows opponents away unlike anything I've seen before. With Taylor, he used to punish his opponents for their mistakes and kept them under constant pressure. MVG just outscores people with ridiculous averages. It's insane accuracy.

Many of Taylor's records will never be broken. The standard of the game is so much higher now.

Got to feel for Peter Wright...
Every final he ends up playing MVG or Taylor and can't keep pace.

I also think there's a psychological factor involved...it's Wright's Achilles heel at the moment.... he needs to catch one of the big guys off form in a final and get a title under his belt but that's a very, very big ask.
As for Phil Taylor...do you think we will ever see a 56 year old win the World Matchplay again ??...he is a unique talent and after such an illustrious career what a wonderful way to bow out of such a prestigious competition. All credit to the guy....MVG may well 'blow them away' with his power scoring but for relentless, unerring accuracy there is no one to touch Taylor...he just grinds you into the floor. Nothing but respect for what he has achieved in the game....a true legend.

Phil the power should change his nickname to Phil the Phenomenal. What role model.

:)COYS

That depends on your opinion of his indecent assault conviction.

That said, it was in 1999 and for his services to the game, as well as his record, he should have his MBE by now.
I'm sure there are a few celebs/sports stars who have OBEs, CBEs and so on, who have a chequered history that is ignored.

First 4 sets of this match were shite considering the level they can play at.
Looks like MVG is about to sew it up though.

Barney had his chances to win this match, fluffed his doubles at times when in a position to snatch a set or leg.

Started a bit sloppy but thought it wasn't a bad match in the end. Close contest all the way to conclusion.

Had a fiver on him at 9/1, into 3/1 now. Can lay to lock in some profit anyway if it goes to a deciding set.
