The Disc Golf Thread

Does anyone else here play? Has this made it across the pond yet? I've found it surprisingly addicting. Surprising because I first played 5 years ago, then played a 2nd time just this year. Now I've gone a dozen times in the last couple of months, and I'm looking into getting more discs as right now I only own a driver.



This is a pretty good introduction video, although this old guy treats it waaayyy too much like golf. No one I know uses a place-marker for their shots and it is played a lot quicker than this. But on a beautiful day, this is a really fun game to play with some buddies and a good way to get exercise.

I haven't properly played it yet, but I've played ultimate for a few years now and few do play disc golf. They've brought discs along and we've messed about with them after training.
