I love how over the top we go as a nation ?.
I know, that's after narrowly beating the 21st? best team in world football in the first group match...imagine we actually won something?...pure carnage.

I love it. Does any one remember the Japan (and korea?) world cup. Because of the time zones I remember one game kicking off first thing in the morning. Every one was hammered by the end of it spilling out of the pubs at like half ten in the morning running around in the traffic like complete idiots.

It's actually hilarious seeing people looking on wondering what the fuck is going on.

I was drinking at a place called The Old Pond in Cheshunt, big slow moving roundabout outside...my mate got in the back of one of those council van things with a big cage on the back for picking up flytipped rubbish....he ended up getting out 3 miles away, the driver didnt have a clue he was in there.
Good times.

Has anyone brought up our free kick takers yet. It was pretty apparent when we had those two fks that neither Trippy or Jones should not be anywhere near an attempt on goal

Do u mean Young?
Just dont think there was anyone on the field last night who's much cop at them.
I suppose Dier mightve had a go if he was playing.

Young and Sterling were not good enough. Mcguire had a terrible first half but improved in the second; but overall still is not up to international standard.

I’d like to see the back 3 (if we have to have 3) passing TO or ahead of each other rather than behind. Some of the passing when under no pressure was inexcusable

Anyone see the BBC documentary 'Managing England - The Impossible Job'? It's on iPlayer now and this thread on Reddit has a link to it if you wish.

Henry Winter is the voice of the media while the various England managers talk about their experiences of the job, the pressure and the role of the media. He sums up their approach to the England team quite well, unfortunately, as we go through the various scandals, stings and OUT campaigns over the years.

His comment on Southgate is telling. Southgate doesn't care about the media because Euro 1996 will always be the worst, but if he slips against Panama....
