The beauty of the fighting cock podcast is that it's by real fans that genuinely adore the club as much as the rest of us. Sure, they swear a lot and talk about getting hammered from time to time but they also tell great away day stories and debate things that we're all talking about on websites like SC each week.

They have good guests on there and the reputation of the pod is growing all the time. For me it's a little bit like Spurs related therapy and helps me to either deal better with a loss, knowing others are in it with me, or revel in victory which has been the norm this season thankfully.

I'll continue to listen as long as it's running and genuinely look forward to downloading it each week.

Here's a smashin video of Flav and his Dad talking about what it means to them to support Spurs.....

Did not expect Dave to look like that at all haha, good vid though

@Flav You know you've hit the dizzy heights of fame when you can get Ryan Gosling to play you in a little UEFA vid. Christ.

To be honest, even with all that said, and even though he specifically referenced Kane, I still think he's different. Yes, I realise I sound like a teen girl fawning over some young pop star, insisting he could love me even though we've never met, but hey. There are some exceptions regardless of what the bloke says, and I think Kane might be one of them. I know people said the same about Bale, but let's face it, the club wasn't in as a good a shape back then as it is now, and Bale didn't grow up a Spurs fan.
Well we already have proof in the flesh in Eriksen that some players are more cognizant about their careers.

He openly discussed turning down big clubs that he thought wouldn't be the right step for him in his career. Smart lad.

You can also see Flav on the Ball Street channel on YouTube. Pretty decent.

Have to say, very disappointed with @WindyCOYS on this week's pod. I mean spit in my mouth but this bunch of lads showed they care more about this club than perhaps any other team in living memory, and we weren't in with a real shot of winning the league anyway imo. Considering Chelsea were happy to run the ball into the corner at 2-2, do we really think they'd have done us a favour against Leicester?

What did he say?
Was he on his high horse like most of SC seem to be....the view must be great up there.

Pretty much, said he was appalled by it and it wasn't Tottenham and he was embarrassed, found it hard to watch etc

No surprise from the dullest blogger in town.
Personally, what I find embarrassing, is conceding 4 or 5, getting our pants pulled down time and time again, and giving up without a fight.
There was nothing embarrassing about Monday night.

Felt a great connection with the players during that match. It's so easy to say they're professionals they should be able to deal with it but how many people get into brawls just from Sunday League with nothing really riding on it? Now imagine a premiership trophy being at stake (even if we were pretty much out of it), being called every name under the sun for 90 minutes by thousands of Chelsea fans, having players constantly trying to manipulate the ref all the while giving you sly digs and acting innocent, AND having them openly admit they're doing everything in their power to stop us and help another team (which they're still yet to play) win the league. Anyone would be incensed, and to blame any Tottenham player would be to expect something subhuman from our players, IMO.

This is just it, the amount of self righteous bullshit posted on here in the last few days is bloody nauseating.
I mentioned elsewhere that I've been waiting years for a team to kick lumps out of that joke of a club, and for that team to be us, live on TV, made me fucking proud...yeah alright if we'd kept our cool and held on to the lead, we'd still be technically in the title race, but there's no way Chelsea wouldn't bend over for Leicester on the last day, their pathetic comments recently only reinforce that.

In hindsight it's a loss losing Dembele for a while, but that could've been a hell of a lot worse....people are serving prison sentences for less than what Dier did, and Lamela could easily have been banned as well if the ref/linesman saw it

I agree with most of what you guys are saying here, but in reality there's no point getting involved in a war, unless you make sure you win - and we let our aggression cloud our judgement there. No way we should have given them a sniff at 2-0.

I agree that it did still hurt, and giving the 2-0 lead away sucks, but we'll probably learn more from this than had we won.

You say don't get involved in a war unless you make sure you win, but ultimately we didn't lose, at least, not really - as has already been said; even if we'd smashed them 5-0 we still wouldn't have won the league. Yes that would have been amazing but I honestly believe we'll perform better against Chelsea next year as a result of Monday night rather than had we just smashed them. Look at what happened when we beat them 5-3, it pumped them up for the cup final and they reacted. Next time we face them, I suspect they'll be greeted with the consequences of Monday's game, but next time on the scoreboard.

Completely agree.

He's making out like we were the bullies when in fact we were the kid that's had enough and fought back.

I do not want us to lose this edge. Maybe channel the aggression but to be that soft touch who just excepts getting fouled is not what we need.

Disappointed? It was just my opinion mate. No need to be disappointed that you disagree with the dullest blogger in town!

This bunch of lads pissed away a 2-0 lead which would have meant beating Chelsea in their own back yard for the first time in 26 fucking years and preventing all their wanker fans from sucking each off on the way home because they'd finally fucked our title chances.

But you're right, the feeling of utter despair in the pit of my gut as Hazard stroked in that equaliser was blissfully eclipsed by the cheery site of Walker taking the petulant kick of a 3yo girl who'd just had her favourite crayon snapped at the prostrate hard nut that is Pedro.

Haha, well for what it's worth I don't read your blog so I can't comment on that, you're entitled to your opinion and normally it's a good counter to the others on the pod but this time around I was firmly in the other corner!

Why am I not surprised that you weren't happy about it? Football's not a game of chess, it's a game of emotions both on and off the pitch, something you seem to miss a lot of the time BC!

Yeah. Bit bloody sanctimonious wasn't it.

Ashamed by our team? Really? Ashamed?? Gah

Never been prouder, myself. Obvs it's not going to happen every week - as evidenced by the fact that it doesn't
