Most of you that don't live in the country don't know most of the politics and coward moves that happen in southamerican football.

What happened yesterday with the bus, happened in the first leg too. I can show you articles and pictures.
The bus was thrown into the "wolf's den' on purpose. They sent the bus right into the middle of the River fans. Of course it's no excuse, but imo it was premeditated, as it never happened before. They usually go through a street without River fans.
The player that was seen with the bandage in his eye, now is confirmed to start the game. Which makes you think he was either faking it or overreacting. Just like it happens on the pitch with the diving and faking.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but things are not as simple as they seem when talking about football in Argentina. There's a lot of politics. The current president got elected after being president of Boca. That should show you the magnitude of the importance in politics
I saw one video where the bus was driving full pelt past hundreds of supporters and whilst a barrage of things were being thrown at the bus it appeared like the people inside were waving at the fans. It just seems as if someone wanted something to happen.

Not waving, but taunting the fans. Tevez was seen waving his arms like a chicken (nickname given to River)
The bus driver today talked to the press this afternoon and said there's always a barrier of wooden planks that protects the visiting team. That every time he drived the boca bus to River, they were there. Yesterday they weren't. I'm convinced it was premeditated. Not sure by who, or what they wanted.
Boca now doesn't want to play the game, and want to be awarded as cup winners.

So the game between River and Boca will be played on the 9th at the Bernabeu. The cups name is Libertadores de AMERICA, and the final will be played in Europe

I'm fcking livid. It's all about money. They ruin everything
Year after year they take our players for money. Now they also take our games.

I really don't get this, why not another Latin American country? What an absolute shame that this has happened, and now this is the outcome.

What a sham. It should be a neutral venue, but somewhere that has some relevancy to the competition.

It shouldn't be a neutral venue
River already played the away leg at Boca with the entire stadium filled with boca supporters.
It should've been played at River's stadium with only River fans. And if River's stadium wasn't a possibility because of the problems last week, it should've been another stadium in Buenos Aires where River would play as the home team. Otherwise it's unfair.
Now it will be played in Madrid with both set of supporters. So in fact River will have played an away game and a neutral game.

Not to mention the cup is called Libertadores de America in honour of the historical liberators of South America from Spain.

It's messed up. I'm both furious and sad.

@Ossie85
So this is now going to be mainly tourists making up the crowd?
Stupid idea.

I assume some will go, and there are a lot of argentinians in Madrid. But there will be a majority of tourist I imagine.
99% of the people who were attending the game before it got suspended, can't make that trip. It's extremely expensive for our economy.
And to be honest, even if it were economically possible, most of us lost interest. They ruined it for money.

I'm not sure I agree it should be played at the Estadio Monumental, in my eyes River forfeited that when the fans lost control and decided to act in a violent way. If everything carried on as normal it would send out the wrong message, maybe a lesson will be learnt in all this because they basically turned the place into a warzone. Agree that this whole Europe idea is not the solution though.

Whats the score?...Is it Half time?
0-0 and yes. Great game, inter should be 2 up but Juve and pressing crazy high. Juve the better team but Intee are no joke. Politano is killing it down the right, J Mario is useless tho. Dybala is looking sharp.

1-0 Juve, but really despite Juves possession Inter could and maybe should have won it. They had more clear goal scoring chances.
Yeah I caught the 2nd half...Chiellini was the best player on the pitch for me.
