That.... was an exciting race!

The result was entirely dictated by that safety car if we're honest - Ferrari and Mercedes were unlucky that they were past the entrance, Red Bull incredibly lucky they had the chance to dive in (and kudos to the pit crew, to all but stack the tyres for both cars, one after the other, and both stops go so smoothly - incredible team they have in their pits), those soft tyres made both drivers' balls swell up, shame Verstappen couldn't drive straight with his swollen testes obstructing his cockpit.

Tip of the hat to Ricciardo though - some of them overtakes were outrageous, i'm actually glad they had his radio on and we heard that he too shit his pants going wheel to wheel with Bottas.

Well this is a boring end to the race now

Bottas probably can't believe what's going on.

Yep.... Bottas won't believe what's happened now!

Hamilton and Kimmie been off it this weekend in qualifying/race and both will be top 2

Hamilton has accused title rival Sebastian Vettel of breaking the rules behind the safety car during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Was only part paying attention at that bit but don't think I seen anything wrong by Vettel

Shame that the race on Sunday was so dull, as the season has started really strong. Would love to see Red Bull have just a bit more pace so they could compete in qualifying.

Ricciardo is right up there as a driver, Max is right up there with the lunatics. They make a good pair and I like the fact that the team don't reign them in - means that all of the other teams can't predict what will happen. Far too often it's obvious who's the number 1 & number 2 in a team, or who's the more talented or more invested driver, but with this pair they are both a danger to the points - like you say, if they could just nail down a decent qualifying session and start a bit further up the grid, could be an exciting three-team fight by the end of the year.

Could be a good race today! Red bull looking good, but talk of some rain falling could make the race a bit unpredictable.

I know Monaco is a prestigious race on the F1calender, but it’s time to change something because yesterdays race was a procession like it has really been for years now.

Agree, only thought it would be interesting if the rain stayed on longer and a bit more. Was so boring in the end.

I think the comment by either Lewis or Fernando (can't remember which) was spot on when they said it wasn't racing on Sunday, just driving. Monaco won't go anywhere but there must be some consideration on how to improve the race.

I imagine that Monaco is one of the most watched by casual F1 fans due to it's prestige and history, which makes it even more of a shame that it's arugebly the most boring race on the calendar. In a time when F1 is fighting to attract viewers it seems a shame that the flagship grand prix's let it down.

The good thing about Monaco is that it does make qualifying on the Saturday really interesting as it's so crucial where you start on the grid. Max must be still kicking himself - what a wasted opportunity!

That was hilarious, what an amazing start - camera from above on the formation lap, my old man says, "looks confusing, all them turns, what road do you take? What line?"

Apparently the answer is whichever one you like!

They should start all GPs like that, start the British at the toll booths at Dartford, 23 cars side by side on the front row :D

This 5 second penalty needs to change. Maybe if they serve it during a pit stop it should stay at 5 seconds, but if they don't pit they should make it 30 or 35 seconds, might make the driver at least think about stopping instead of just having a cheap 5 second time penalty added at the end.

The 5-second penalty Sirotkin got for being too slow behind the safety car was totally unfair. Didn't they see he's driving a Williams
