Went for the sentimental backing of Carrera Bello but picked the wrong Spaniard, at least Casey came in e/w!

I had Casey, but 5 places only .

Even though all my bets went tits up, you can't help but feel pleased for Garcia and I thoroughly enjoyed the tournament. Some fantastic golf played, and no matter how many times I've seen Augusta on TV I'm always wowed by how gorgeous a golf course it is.

Really chuffed for him, hopefully it'll be the catalyst for him to kick on now, at 37 he's got a few more years left in him yet.

Had Pieters 5 EW. Or at least I thought I did. Actually backed him to win. Was very annoyed when I looked at my bet history Monday morning. Also had Rahm EW and he fell away on Sunday

Backed Day and Oosthuizen Thursday morning. One of my sales reps asked me for an outsider to pick. I told him Leishman at 100/1. Shame I didn't take my own advice and go for him as well.

Backed him at 20s yesterday morning.

Between Justin Thomas and Brendan Steele, its been a very good day for me. Have Thomas winning and in my daily fantasy team, i have Thomas, Steele and Fowler. Just hoping it keeps up through tomorrow.

The Open is going to be interesting, i've had a little punt on Matsuyama, Oosthuizen, Mickelson, Johnson and Koepka seeing as we're getting each way on ten places.

Yeah 10 places is very generous.

From being pretty successful with golf betting in the past it's been so difficult to pick a winner in majors in the last couples of years. It's great for the game, but not so good for the punters.

So I've decided now to generally ignore previous major winners and I've gone for Matsuyama, Fowler, Fleetwood, Rahm and Leishmann as my main bets. Although I've got a little on Koepka and Harrington too.

I have put a little bit on Poulter given odds so long and decent form/likes the course. Not expecting him to win but stands a chance of placing.
