DJ probably will win, but Tommy’s arse must be going with his clubhouse score after that fantastic round,

Mate of mine lives in New Zealand. Obviously they are hours ahead of us and he’s just text me saying fleetwood has just won by a shot. Johnson bogeyed the last.

Gutted he spoiled it for me but stopped me staying up late in this time zone and being tired for work tomorrow I suppose.

Tommy Fleetwood is some player but hats of to Koepka winning from the front is not easy

Played 18 this evening after about 12 months of no golf. Started with a triple bogey, managed the rest of the front 9 in 4 over which I was pleased about.

On the back 9 I had 8 pars and a double bogey, sloppy from the middle of the fairway so really should have been 9 pars.

Playing again in 2 weeks. Hoping to get some consistent golf in again

Interesting start to open. Short irons into greens but no one burning it up. Not much rough. Wind this afternoon could make a difference.

That's savage, take it you've been a low handicapper in the past/present?

Was as low as a 7 handicap up to about 5 years ago but family commitments and new jobs meant I had to take a break from membership and playing regularly.

Getting married in August and after that's out of the way and paid off I'll be motoring again. Hoping to get membership somewhere and get back into it regularly

Fair play to you, I'm sitting at 12 currently but been that for a year and played half the amount of times that I would normally. So difficult to get lower without real commitment!

Yep. No-one making a fast start.
As expected with the wind.

This Molinari/Woods pairing is interesting. Think one of them will be involved towards the end. Glad Kisner is letting it slip, never been able to take to him.

Money on Fleetwood and Spieth.

So it was your fault Fleetwood just hit it OB, was it!

Only Tiger under par in the top 6; could be interesting.

I'm going Spieth (duh) with Woods just missing out.

Seeing woods and molinari paired makes me think I'm watching the ryder cup

Do we all want woods to win?
