Switched off to watch f1 highlights instead...never abandoned the masters before even when there were players I didn't particularly like on course to win...but Reed is a whole new level...what a contrast to last year when it was a win-win with Garcia and rose

Fowler’s turn to put some pressure on him-one slip from reed here and it’s a play off

Say what you like about him, but there's no doubt at all that the best player of the week won.

Anybody tried one of those aimpoint express putting classes? Really struggle reading breaks on a green and heard good things about this course.

A few years ago I had some lessons from my then club pro and as part of that I asked him to help me read greens. he looked at my putting stroke and said that was good so played a couple of holes and then showed me how to do the aim point thingy. I continue to use this, in part, and it has improved my reading of the greens no end. The bit I took was the using your feet to read the greens. So I look at the lie of the land as usual but use my feet to double check, often finding that what I saw was deceptive. So for me it was the best lesson I ever had since over 40% of our rounds tend to be putts it was an easy way to save a few shots a round

McIlroy is still erratic, he was never going to have a chance on a course like this. Idiotic shots get severely punished and he's always got one in his locker.

You know what, I think Poulter could do this. Slow and steady could win it this time around.

Have Oosthuisen backed at 50/1. I went to bed last night and he was tied for 75th when he finished. He is yet to start today and is currently 26th. If he can continue to rise without playing it would be great

Well, this course is playing ridiculously difficult. A lot of players throwing tantrums.

Mickelson was lucky to get away with that. I hope he's feeling suitably embarrassed this morning.

He must have been so frustrated. I think he will regret it but it was within the rules, like deliberately committing a foul that gets you booked, so we need to be careful of too much criticism. Still golfers I hope never descend to the depths of footballers.

However the USGA should be totally ashamed of the way the course was set up since they were well aware of the weather and what might happen. Sad that so many players have effectively been taken out of contention as it was shaping up to be close contest.

I agree the course was too difficult, though it does make it an interesting final day!

But Mickelson was still lucky. They chose to penalise him for "making a stroke at a moving ball" rather than "an action with the intent to influence the movement of a ball in play" which is disqualification rather than 2 shots. You've got to be pretty generous not to go with the latter infringement since influencing the movement of a ball [clearly still] in play was exactly what he did!

Just seen Reed is top of the leader board again. Please don't let that fat piece of shit win again
