Tomorrow is another day in the long fight for freedom. As 'Muricans we understand that it takes only 1 brave soul to stand for liberty amongst the oppressors. Can you find this brave soul in this picture?

I bet if you look, the vast majority of Americans probably own one of those, they're issued at birth like passports...and guns.

I count 5-10 of them so it's a fair chance. Well done you.

I'm pretty good at that sort of quiz. :pompous:

Soooo, why do you think your boys got so roundly stuffed in the foursomes? I don't remember a more convincing session ever.

In our defense we just blanked you guys in foursomes in 2016...and four additional occasions over the years. Which is weird because I view foursomes as the touchy-feely Euro game. I fully expected it to be the first games in order for you lot to put the first points on the board. Hasn't that always been the conventional wisdom that Septics gain their points in the singles and fourball with Euros hammering us in the foursomes?

A bit of wind and think rough and they couldn’t handle it.

Probably didn’t help they had Phil “I can’t hit fairway” Mickelson playing either.

I can't be arsed (sorry, assed) to look them up, but 3&2, 4&2, 5&4, 5&4? That's a stuffing.

Bottom line (sorry, butt line) is that tomorrow is going to be a helluva day. Your guys are going to come out fighting, and the Euro boys will be on a high. Can't wait.

Nah, I don't think these are elements with which we are unfamiliar. Approx half our country is flat windy plains full of thick lush farmland. We got all of that plus heat...and the Sun actually shines over here.

It was more likely the clown's mouth, windmill, and water on that course. Plus, you guys have all these countries involved against 1 so it is inherently unfair (yeah, I said it). We should protest.:shifty:

Yup, that's a damn embarrassing ass whoopin. I can't even disingenuously bullshit my way into defending that.

Me too neither. But I hope we sweep the fourball. As long as we are within 2 going into the singles I will feel ok.

It was the “Nice trainers Johnson” scream in a fake American accent that done it for me, it was like a scene from Happy Gilmour...
Had to be a fake accent as I am not aware of any regional US dialect that uses the word 'trainers' for sneakers/tennis shoes or golf shoes/spikes. If there is then I have learned something today.

It could just have been a damn yankee that couldn't shed his newly learned, but very wrong, terminology from his time back in the motherland.

It definitely was, the guy screaming quite clearly didn’t know his golf gear either, probably on a corporate jolly and a West Ham supporter ?
I just find it all a bit cringeworthy, unfortunately the crowd at the RC over recent years have really ‘chavved’ it in my opinion...

Enjoyed the golf yesterday, and am eagerly awaiting today's play.

Personally think that Europe are going to hand the USA their arse and pull further away by the end of the day.

Just want to say I can forgive Poulter for being an Arse fan because at the Ryder cup he is just sensational. I just love his passion.

Sky commentator hit the nail on the head. The Americans aren't tested enough on the PGA tour. If you're long off the tee you get a wedge in your hand most of the way round.

There's a reason 59 is never really threatened on the European Tour.
