The first leg of the triple crown on Saturday. Love derby day. The Kentucky Derby is so fun. Betting lines on the main race seem shockingly decent atm. Especially on the favorites. Guess that might be because the biggest trainer, Bob Baffert amazingly doesnt have a horse in the race. Not decided on my pick yet though. God i wanna go to Vegas for this. Betting horses at the book on a big event day is so fun. Kentucky, Preakness, Belmont, Breeders, Santa Anita, Travers. All quality.

The warm up event, the Kentucky Oaks on Friday should be a good one also.

I had a free bet so I used it on this KFC derby thing. McKraken is the name of the poor unfortunate donkey that carries my hopes.

Just had a tenner on Dawn Shadow in the 4.50 at 80/1 with paddy power, who give you your money back if the SP fav wins.

Third to the favourite last time out and third to the winner of this race last year. I only need about a dozen horses to fall and I'm in with a chance!

Anyone got any ante-post fancies for the Grand National?

Ever since Blacklion won me money at Cheltenham a couple of years ago I’ve had a wager on him when I can, but I’m not really aware of how he’s been doing this year.

Another triple crown winner for Bob Baffert. Incredible.

Congrats Mike Smith and Justify. Horse racing history.
