I'm dissapointed with last night, of course I am, but I'm generally very happy with the way the club is going. I have been reading through a few threads today and it's quite shocking the level of dissatisfaction that is occurring.

Poch is getting an awful lot of stick, in what in my opinion is a difficult time with a lot of our top players injured. I saw people on twitter and Facebook last night calling for his head. Crazy when u think about it.

There are two examples id like raise, one is alex ferguson, doesn't really need explaining did nothing for 6 years and we all know how it turned out. An example from our club is Keith burkinshaw, relegated in his first season, went on to manage us for 8 years and won many trophies in a golden age for the club, in this day and age he wouldn't have last his first season.

My question is, what has changed in the last 30 years or so? Only 1 team can win the league, still, and the fa cup, Europe etc.

I don't want to sound like a fan boy, I'm not, but if anyone seriously wants to replace poch, they need their heads testing. Replace with who?

Is it this age of entitlement we live in? Because I honestly thought generally Spurs fans were better than this, showing the levels of entitlement that Arsenal fans display is pretty disgusting, or is it that these guys just simply don't know their football nowadays?

It's a lot to do with the fact that so many different people and businesses are having to generate content in relation to football. No better clickbait than criticising managers.

Its the JCLs who've crept into our fanbase after a tiny little bit of relative success mainly mate, they're irritating as fuck but what can you do?
They're on here as well, a few are already calling for his head...it's fucking mental.

I think the internet magnifies things out of proportion.

I wasn't happy last night and was very disappointed with our CL performances.

If I went on Twitter or Facebook I'd have added to a lot of unhappy fans discussing our dissatisfaction. This makes it look like we are all unhappy. Add to that the fans who have to go OTT to gain attention and the clickbait artists who hypoerbole everything and before you know it we have a situation where it looks like we all want Poch out.

In reality most of us were just unhappy at being knocked out of a prestigious tournament.

Many of those asking for Poch's head yesterday are probablynot today or certainly won't be after our next win.

Large portions of the internet simply aren't a good source of information and i certainly wouldn't use Twitter to gauge the view of any group of people, sports or otherwise.
