Is he a great prospect, but lets not get ahead of ourselves his never even played a senior game yet, can't even compare to Kyle Walker
So what he hasnt played a senior game, you can compare their technical attributes as a player and walker is poor in the final third with his final ball

@IGSpur and others....much of this is on the left.....is he better/ same at RB?
He is a RB,but can play LB.Going forward having a player that can do that is a tremendous asset.I have a feeling he will be 2nd choice this season. If it were an absolute disaster we always have dier that could slot in till January. But I've every confidence he will be fine.

Whatever Poch decides with out RB situation, I trust him.

Just hope that if he does think we need a new RB, that we actually get one and not fk about too much.

This kid has everything except experience. Trust me he is a proper footballer and with the crowd behind him he will go from strength to strength.

He is much better on the right than the left. He is more unpredictable and its more natural for him. He is better at attacking and crossing down that side and is more adventurous. At LB he does more of a job, and it is a good job. But it isn't his best position

Have a feeling the reason we haven't brought a rb so far is because pochettino is having a good look at walker peters in pre season

He can play v Newcastle and we should be fine, but it would help me feel better if we could get a quality signing in RB. KWP did nothing wrong really today v Juventus. In fact, his defending was fairly good on Costa and Asomoah. I don't think he offered much in attack which we need in our system. Maybe he needs some more confidence to shine in that respect.

Would poch completely dismiss a player to the press not sure he would.

I wouldn't say that he's dismissed him exactly. But IF KWP is going to play against Newcastle it's probably better that it's a surprise inclusion. If KWP thinks he's starting next week, the kid probably won't get a single decent nights sleep all week.

If Poch is thinking KWP will fill in at RB he might also be thinking that the later KWP knows about it, the better

Is Kyle Walker-Peters ready to start against Newcastle if needed?

"He's very young. It's true that to think and to give the big responsibility like Kieran, it's too much today for him. He's a player that needs to work with us and maybe start to play in different games but we cannot think that he is, in the case of Kieran weeks away from the team, only he can replace him. I think we are working, but we were working before that happened and try to find the solutions in different positions on the pitch."

anyone? google translate doesn't recognise pochish.
