Haven’t seen it - did he lose Vardy for the goal?

Gave away the free kick, and yes I reckon he lost Vardy. Though there was some confusion of who marked who. Lamela was ahead of him without a man, and it was a mess behind KWP too with people far away from their men.

Still not seeing a reason why he hasn't been given more minutes this season.

Not like the senior players aren't at fault for goals left right and center. I honestly don't understand the fear.

And as I type KWP gets an assist. 2 mins after Wanyama and Dier fvcked up closing down Iheanacho.

Right now we're seeing what a difference it makes when you have fullbacks who get down the line and play balls in. There'll be a reason why Guardiola spent 490 Mio on fullbacks this season.

Apart from the fact Pep doesn't have his full backs get down the line and play balls in :D , in essence I agree

So happy for him! 2 assists and looked assured going forward. Also telling that he has the trust of his teammates, which goes a long way in giving him the confidence to play his own game. Think we need to sell Trippier and have Aurier and KWP battle it out for the RB role. As it happens both KWP and Aurier be available for the whole pre-season schedule.

I look at games like this when a young player is thrown in to a defence that couldn't defend. You can see he was potentially at fault for the one goal, but as the game went on he became more of a threat and actually showed some good ability on the ball.

Needs to be given a real chance next season

I'd sell Trippier and tell Aurier he's first choice. If he doesn't up his game then give KWP a shot. Liverpool are giving youth a chance we should do the same, I'm a 100% sure KWP would be performing just as well as the Liverpool RB.

Neither Aurier or Trippier have grabbed the spot this season, this lad is the future and even if he is a bit shaky at times (like Carr could he when first put in team) for me he HAS to be given the chance.

He’ll get even better and you just cannot beat having one of your own in the team, they bleed more for you.

Swap Aurier and KWP around and I agree lol ;-)

He’s our best RB, I’m not overreacting I’ve said this before. Has to be our number 1 next season

If given regular games I’m sure he’ll make mistakes but so what, so do Trippier and aurier

If we do go with a wing-back system next year, he has to be at least considered for that RWB berth. He has the sharpness and ability on the ball to be a threat offensively, and with a little more work under Poch, he'll sure up his defensive side
