Based on todays performance, he has to be the no. 1 RB for us next season. Yes, he needs a lot of work with regards to physical strength and on the defensive side of his game, but his runs forward were exactly what we'd been missing all season.

Still not seeing a reason why he hasn't been given more minutes this season.
Agree to an extent. two assists in a hugely open game and the guy is young so certainly not writing him off but right now the level he showed is below Trippier. Plenty of positives though.

He’s our best RB, I’m not overreacting I’ve said this before. Has to be our number 1 next season

Can you imagine how effective he'll be as a RWB with 3 CB's covering? :wideyed: You can tell his attacking instinct is strong, he just needs the run of games and confidence from his teammates to show how much of an asset he is.

massive difference when u have two strong attacking wbs/fbs in the side as we saw today. I'm confident with expierence he'll become a top fullback.

Sell trips who is 27, play aurier as a RWB next year (apparently poch's preference) and have KWP as second choice.

KWP - just my onions - has given Spurs and Poch a good problem to have. Trips an Aurier are now on notice.

id sell aurier, keep tripps as he's hg and fits better in the squad. Though i fully expect us to do the opposite.

If he isn't one of the two RBs then if I was him I'd ask to leave. He turns 22 next season and a football career isn't that long. He's more than good enough to be playing in the PL and it's what he needs now.

Tripps out, Aurier 1st choice and KWP battle to take it off him. They'd both get ample time to become 1st choice anyway with Poch's rotation style

He played well again today after the first 5 or so minutes at the start!

He looks to get down the wing well and beat his man or put in a cross, this is what we need more of! Hope he can push on and get more games next season.

We either have to sell one of trippier or aurier or kwp goes out on loan for a season. This kid has to play now and I hope it is for us

Right now we're seeing what a difference it makes when you have fullbacks who get down the line and play balls in.

You have more of an attacking threat but also get absolutely ripped apart at the back?

Let's be real here lads, if you're going to tout Walker-Peters based on his attacking quality today, you have to acknowledge that he was a major weakness in a defence that conceded four goals at home. Today proved nothing about whether Walker-Peters is better or worse than Aurier/Trippier, only that he has a separate set of strengths and weaknesses.

Having a fast RB was awesome to watch. Rose was good too. Had 3 assists between them and rose won a few free kicks in dangerous areas and should have been given a pen. Need to sort out that CM area though to allow them to push up without being too compromised

Utter madness he hasn’t played more games and he proved it today.

Keep him, sell the other 2 and use that money on a top draw right back to compete with him. Easy.

Let's also be realistic that the back 4 today won't be first choice next season or be protected by a midfield that has sissoko or a half injured wanyama
