I think Aurier was a bit of an appeasement buy to the fans and save face over selling walker. Don’t think levy wanted to look like he was falling into the media narrative of selling best players and not replacing them. I think if it was down to Poch he would have gone with KWP as back up. With Trippier continued progress personally I’d have no issue with selling Aurier and giving KWP back up. But most likely scenario is loan KWP and give Aurier one more season.

Levy wouldn't fork out £25m just to appease the fans, remember he's the guy who sold Berbatov and replaced him with Frazier Campbell. He doesn't give a f*ck.

He must be looking at Alexander-Arnold and ask himself, if he's starting for Liverpool why can't I get in Spurs' squad? Must be so frustrating for him. Would also rather have him than Aurier as second choice.

Wouldn't fault him for wanting to leave. No reported attitude issues, shows up to training on time, is one of the best trainers in the team and still can't even get a start in a cup game

I would like to see were Aurier is at the end of the season. He looked good against inter but that's only one game, and we lost. I still have hope he can come good. But I do think KWP should be out number to. And I think your spot on re TAA.

We need to sell one of the others next summer.

Not that I'm aware of. I don't understand why he's not getting a game either.

He has two more senior players ahead of him is my guess. Someone out of the three will be moving on in the summer surely.

He put in 2 MoM performances in the 2 PL starts he had last season. Deserves the league cup at least....

Well he's gonna get his chance now, as disappointing as it is sometimes you need a break like this to another player to get noticed.

Good, once he gets his chance, he needs to make it hard to drop him. I think he’s got it in him, and look forward to seeing it.

I really hope KWP gets the opportunity but I wouldn't put it past Poch to play Sissoko as a RWB instead.

Come on don't be silly, it's obvious that KWP is next in line, could be the making of him.

You can call it that but Poch has historically gone out of his way to avoid selecting youth players. I really want to KWP to be rewarded for his patience but I can honesty see Poch moving Dier to RB or Sissoko to RWB rather than give those minutes to KWP.
