Thought he was very good today. The way we play means that here will be space behind him at times, but Winks covered that space well. He needs to get more confident in delivering an early ball but he was good

He played relatively well yesterday but Ive never been that impressed with his defensive work as his play moving up the field. Not sure he has the quality though

Thought he was fantastic yesterday, one of our best players but I still wish people wouldn't get carried away with it, especially in a game where he didn't have to do too much defending. I think people should realise he will most likely have a few bad games for us too and I just don't want to see him then get slated all over the place if that were to happen because I don't think it will be a surprise if it does as he still has a lot of developing to do.

Me personally, I am trying to stay somewhat grounded but am happy whenever he performs well.

People have said what he's good at but I'm yet to really see it. IMO he plays like he's won the lottery and looks like he doesn't truly feel like a part of the squad.

He played well yesterday but there was plenty of opportunities to attack the opposite full back or the space but he opted to cut inside and head towards the traffic or pass the responsibility to someone else.

I can see that he could potentially offer something different to Trippier, Aurier, Rose and Davies but he needs to be more confident in his ability and state his case.

Foyth is also talented like KWP, he makes mistakes but you certainly can't watch him and say that he lacks confidence. He doesn't play it safe at all and I like that.

Reminded me of Cafu in prime

Pleased for him, he’s taking his opportunity. He’ll grow in confidence and decision making with the experience he’s getting now.

He did good, but need to see him consistently smashing it before we can really be sure he's the one. He was MOTM last opening day at Newcastle, so it's a long way to go.

If I see him do a tackle like Winks one or a few like Verts I might be impressed but I havent seen anything of quality defensively. Nothing bad mind you either

Pleased to see some people recognising his good performance yesterday, we just need to get behind our young players rather than examine their game in minute detail and pick holes in it. Give him games and he can only get better.

I think his a better one on one defender harder to beat than trippier, it was always to easy to get a cross in from our right side last season let’s be honest last season our right backs set a low bar he should be fine.

He is good and he will get better. Your perception of him is probably due to some distrust or preconceived opinion which results in you viewing him negatively.

I think KWP has probably got the highest percentage of MOTM achievements based only on the number of games that he started in the PL (for this club).

Played well yesterday. I still think against tougher opposition where he will be more singled out with a forward he would get beaten far too much.
Aurier is still my no1 choice (although he too has his pitfalls)

The thing that positively surprised me yesterday was whilst not tested too much given concerns about his physique he was pretty solid in 1-1 situations and held his ground when trying to be muscled off the ball
