It will be a tough game no doubt but I reckon that having beaten them away last season and a couple of weeks ago I think we go into this one as favourites!

I fancy us for 0-2!

happy with a draw. If we're playing UTD or stevenage i'm never totally confident of any result without King in the side.

I agree with you triks, though on the plus side we do have Palacios to win the midfield battle and their striking power is particularly weak.

We should have this one in the bag provided Sundays result doesn't go to our heads.

0-2 Spurs. Keane and Palacios (to open his account)

The key here is not to take it for granted and put in less than 100% (whoever the starting 11 is)

Indeed, the performance and result will say a lot about our aspirations. Do we want to be up there challenging the top 4 at the end of August or are we just happy to sit back and enjoy the plaudits for the scouse performance

I am still 'harping back' over our recent results (dropping points when we ought not to have!). Having trounced Hull, in China, we should be more than capable of taking all 3 points? That said, we are still the Spurs that threw away so many points, last season, and despite a VERY bright start, to 90/10, we should always be wary of teams like Hull?
That said (and with fingers and toes crossed and whatever) I can see a positive 2-3 goal victory....but then again lol. COYS!

I don't understand the comments sometimes. So last night, we won at Hull 5-1, and Liverpool won at home to Stoke 4-0. Both results were excellent, both losing teams contributed to their demise, both winning teams played excellently.

Yet, Liverpool get all the credit, and we seem to get

Liverpool
Liverpool, after a poor start against Tottenham, were very good against Stoke on Wednesday, taking them apart at times.

Spurs
Tottenham, too, have got off to an absolute flier. They were very good against Liverpool and, even though Hull helped them, were good again on Wednesday night.

I know its stupidly anal, it's just that we never get the credit when it comes to the two scousers, its always concentrating on the bad points of the oppositions play rather than our good points!!

Has he predicted a third draw?!

I know its stupidly anal, it's just that we never get the credit when it comes to the two scousers, its always concentrating on the bad points of the oppositions play rather than our good points!!

To be fair, Hull did help us, I don't think there's anything wrong with pointing that out.
