Yes, they will challenge the top six and yes, they have the makings of a good team.

This sort of stuff winds me up. When people say Spurs could be top 6 as if they're sticking their necks out! Harry's form last season would have been enough to get us 5th so it's only worth saying we'll challenge the top 4. We will challenge the top 4 if we can keep this up, but that doesn't mean we'll finish 4th. Villa challenged the top 4 but failed.

Tottenham v Man Utd

There are some weekends when you think United can get away without the likes of Rio
Ferdinand and Edwin van der Sar, but this is not one of them.

Tottenham are great going forward, but will always give chances and concede goals.

Verdict: 1-1

Yes! Now we'll win for sure

Does him predicting a draw mean a spurs win.

If we won this game and made it 5 out of 5, id be seriously impressed. As if im not impressed enough already, but what a start it could be!

Chelsea v Tottenham (1600 KO)

_46395398_che_tott_0506.gif

By Sunday evening Tottenham will have an idea what's in store for them this season. They will have to go to Stamford Bridge carrying an attacking threat but also get the balance of the team right.
That's hard to judge when you haven't got the ball, and against Chelsea they're playing against an outstanding team. They're all top-class internationals and they've not lost a game under Carlo Ancelotti.
Verdict: 2-1

A fairly predictable prediction, methinks.

Fair enough, I predicted the same.

We're down to 10th in the Lawro League. Everton have 5 wins in a row sitting in 2nd place with a game in hand. Why all this love for Everton...

My heart fears a loss....but...unlucky and poor Ref, as usual. On the other hand....what price a Cockrel inspired return to winning ways...and what better way to announce our EPL Credentials that to take 3 points from Chelski, and put a frown on Russian lips? It is not beyond us...even without Modric etc al? At worst....a score draw COYS!

We're going to Stamford Bridge to meet maybe the best team in country.

This is one of our 3 most difficult games in the Premier League, the other 2 being trips to Anfield and Old Trafford.

It'd be great if we were up against a lower team at WHL after the Man U defeat, but sod it, it's Chelsea, I'll be happy with a draw.

Saying that though, if we win, it'll level out the top of the table nicely, especially if the reds beat the blues

I'd be happy with a point from this one. Chelsea look very tough and without Luca we will struggle to break them down. I doubt we'll score more than one. Who knows, though. We have a reasonable record against them recently and could upset them on their own territory. The key lies in making Terry upset. Get him mad and they wont win.

(Wasn't it the Man U fans who did the Big Daddy "Easy, Easy..." chant when they were winning 1-0 and Terry got all sad?)
