"I have got it wrong when I have backed Liverpool recently - but this is definitely a game I expect them to win."

This made me laugh. I wonder if Lawro realises how biased he comes across. I know that his predictions are just a bit of fun but he is ridiculous about Liverpool.

It's Chelsea fans turn to be outraged this week. Literally only writes about Chelsea and then predicts exactly what you'd expect.

Liverpool v Chelsea (17:30 GMT)

Eden Hazard has been fantastic for Chelsea in recent weeks, and his side are on a run of four straight wins in the Premier League.

But the Blues are going to have to put together a much longer winning streak if they are going to catch up with leaders Manchester City, and I don't see them doing that.

It is very close between the pack of five teams that are below City, and they have been taking points off each other all season - which suits City fine.

It will be interesting to see what the chasing pack do in January if they are still bunched together then.

Normally that transfer window is more about the teams near the bottom of the table but this season who the top teams buy - and especially who they sell - is going to make a big difference to who finishes in the top four.

Lawro's prediction: 2-1

To stay on topic, this is what he says for our game and I don't think many will argue much...

Tottenham v West Brom

If he is still in charge, I am not expecting West Brom caretaker manager Gary Megson to try to change much about the Baggies' style of play following Tony Pulis' departure.

Tottenham bounced back from the disappointment of their derby defeat by Arsenal by beating Borussia Dortmund, and I think they will win this one pretty comfortably too.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

I'm expecting a draw personally. My eldest son wanted me to go to this with him. The wife wanted to go to the Ideal Home Christmas Exhibition at Olympia. Guess where I'll be? Not Wembley :(:(:(:mad::poop:

Leicester v Tottenham

Tottenham slipped up again at Wembleywith their draw against West Bromand, again, their performance was not convincing either.

Spurs have a better success rate on the road than at home this season - 12 points from six games, compared to 12 from seven.

Yes, they have lost at Old Trafford and Emirates Stadium, but generally they have played well and got positive results when they have gone away, and I am expecting that to continue against Leicester.

Leicester manager Claude Puel has only lost one of his first four games in charge, but I would back Spurs to bounce back with a win - as they did after losing at Manchester United and Arsenal.

Lawro's prediction: 0-2

I was first drawn to Spurs because of the word Hotspur, which is unlike the run of the mill names like City and United. I was in Primary 5 then and was reading the Black Prince when by chance I opened the sports page of a daily paper and saw Tottenham Hotspur and I immediately took to it.

Ok. So according to that table Lawro has NEVER backed us to lose this season and has us 13 points better off than we actually are.
What a cad!

We’ve all been wasting our time analysing why our performances this season haven’t been as good. The answer been in front of our nose all along.

Damn you Lawro :mad::D.

Tottenham v Everton (17:30 GMT)

Everton have now lost three games in a row following their FA Cup defeat by Liverpool - and I think Tottenham might make it four.

We are likely to see the Toffees' new signing Cenk Tosun at some point - even if boss Sam Allardyce doesn't start with him up front - but it will take him some time to adjust to the pace of the Premier League.

Tottenham are just starting to find their stride a little bit - their only defeat in their past eight league games was against Manchester City and the only other game where they have dropped points in that run was against West Ham.

Allardyce will try to contain Spurs and keep them out, but I don't think he will manage it.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

Saric's prediction: 3-1

Baynes's prediction: I played for San Antonio Spurs and won the NBA championship, so I am going to give it to Spurs here. 2-1

Can't fault Baynes's logic there. I support San Antonio spurs only because of the name.
