Everton have won the league 9 times in there history, we've won it twice. In the last few years we've mostly finished above them.
Which is what you would expect from a club with the 6th biggest revenue, we did not finish above them last season, which is what matters.
They have never qualified for the Champions League.
I agree we need to win more trophies.

They came 4th in 2004-2005 season thus qualified for the champions league, they were beaten in the third qualfying round for the group stages but they still qualified for the CL.

It is called qualifying rounds (of which there are 3). Not qualifying round for the group stage. Everton have never qualified for the champions league.

Did England get into the 1994 world cup?

The group stage of the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League will be played from 16 September to 10 December 2014. A total of 32 teams compete in the group stage.

If they had won the third round they would have gone through to the group stages.

Distribution
Since the title holders Real Madrid qualified for the Champions League group stage through their domestic league (as the third-placed team of the 2013–14 La Liga), the group stage spot reserved for the title holders is vacated, and the following changes to the default allocation system are made:[13][14][15]

  • The champions of association 13 (Switzerland) are promoted from the third qualifying round to the group stage.
  • The champions of association 16 (Austria) are promoted from the second qualifying round to the third qualifying round.
  • The champions of associations 47 (Northern Ireland) and 48 (Wales) are promoted from the first qualifying round to the second qualifying round.

Is this an appeasement article by the disciples\cult of Daniel.
He's mentioned Leeds and of let's mention the new training ground.
As for the new stadium every thing is nearly completed, design, funding, buying the land, naming rights, tenders.
I understand it'sbeen difficult to build a stadium look at borough,Swansea,Leicester ,derby, chesterfield,mk dons, reading.I look forward to the stadium completion in 2040.The st waiting list will probably be as high as the stats for a townsend cross/shot on target.
Simply look at the team on the pitch,is simply not good enough and finally fans are beginning to see this, hundreds of empty seats on Sunday and thousands on Wednesday. We don't need a new stadium, unless we get better players.

My view is this. He's taken us forward to a level where we are successful enough to pull in big sponsors and investments on the possibility that we could be big, and now we've plateaued. It's crystal to me.

It wasn't long ago when avoiding a relegation scrap was the level of our ambition league-wise. Now we're gutted if we're 5th-6th. I think that shows how high expectations have raised since Levy/ENIC took the reigns. Whether that's tangible progress or not depends on your outlook I suppose.

That said, the final hurdle is becoming higher and more unattainable with every season that passes and if nothing else, the same mistakes that hold us back don't seem to have been learned from as it's the same things every season (strikers, management overhaul every 10 mins, new ground, Chirpy etc etc).

So in a lot of respects, perhaps they are holding us back at this point in time, but without them, I'm not so sure we would be anywhere near where we are now, which isn't the worst of places in fairness.

I think that Levy's biggest mistake was not to make the investment needed during the Jan window while we were in the CL. IIRC, we ended up with Nelson and Saha, that alone speaks volumes.
Success on the field, IMO would have led to us having a higher profile and with that it would have been easier to recruit investment.

The other mistake was not letting the Josif's park their cars on the empty lot
