If City want to keep Aguero there is really nothing Madrid can do about it, as even offering £150 million won't change their minds as City have near limitless funds at their disposal.

Suarez however is a different proposition. If Real really want him, they are capable of making an offer that FSG just will not turn down, much like they did with Bale. Tbh, I may be alone here, but I hope he stays, I am fed up with Madrid bullying teams.

Marca say Madrid will offer £56million(perhaps £6million too much)

Interestingly Ancelotti will only agree to it if Benzema stays

I'd say Suarez would go for £65-70million

Its quite funny when its another club.

CL monies only gets pool an extra £30m or so, so will be interesting to see if the bindippers can hold on...

When a club like Real come calling it normally makes no difference whether you are in the CL or not.

Simple really. Suarez will just tweak the statement in that he wants to not only be in the competition but playing for a side that has a very realistic chance of winning it.

Just got to hope the little twat does something controversial against England at the World Cup and the English press will ramp up their hate again. This coupled with a few Madrid reports in Marca will almost certainly mean he packs his bags.

I don't think that's necessary. I don't think Suarez will turn down Madrid, and I don't think Liverpool would turn down €90m

It's a catch 22 situation really. Yes, it'd be hilarious to see Liverpool lose Suarez after the season they've had, but also I don't want to see them get a £70 mill cash injection. Big money + CL football = quality signings (unless you're Arsenal).

As much as I'd be delighted to see Dracula leave these shores, and to see the buckets of tears flowing down the Kop at his departure, there is something that really sticks in the throat about how "the Government's team", as all other Spanish fans call them, just assume they can tap up with impunity any player on the planet. Personally, and I know I'm in the minority here, I was gutted they won the Champs League.

He may or may not leave but it's funny that the Scousers seem to trust everything the rat says in the papers, doesn't his Mrs have family in Spain? I find it hard to believe he'd turn down Madrid if they mad a serious offer and he can't really say he want's to move there untill that offer comes in anyway so it doesn't matter what he's said in the press up untill this point. We know full well how this works.

Would a young kid from Uruguay grow up dreaming of playing for Liverpool or would it be more likely that he wanted to play for Madrid, Barca or one of the big Italian teams? I imagine the list of players to turn down Madrid is very short.

I hope he goes, and i also hope it's a long drawn out affair. Let the scousers see what it's like having them hound their player like we've had for two seasons running.......

I hope they slap in a £90m bid to test their resolve.

I'd be pissed off if they picked up Morata on loan (probably with option to buy) as part of it though. They can offer CL so could well happen if there's any mileage in it.

If Marca say they bid €90m then they probably haven't even bid yet officially but will probably open with €50m or so like they did with Bale. The funny thing about the Bale transfer was that they started bragging about how much they could pay for him and seemed to raise his price with all of their media bollocks. Looks like the same could happen here.

At the end of the day if Madrid really want him they'll get him. They won't go in big for him without a serious nod from Suarez himself. I really can't see him passing up the opportunity to play at the biggest Club in the world flanked by Ronaldo and Bale.

And most importantly he may not get the opportunity again - serious injury, Madrid move on and go for someone else who turns out to be the business for them.

I reckon he'll be gone come August.

And no matter who Liverpool bring in, losing Suarez will hurt them massively.
