Got to feel sorry for the people who bought the Shakespeare/Pulis half-and-half scarves last night. In less than 24 hours that scarf is now as outdated as it is awful.

Shakespear's a snidey potato headed ****. Couldn't wait to jump in Ranieri's grave, which he probably helped dig in what is referred to in football as the "Sherwood manoeuvre".

I wonder if they Thai owners thought to themselves...

"To sack or not to sack"

:D

Glad to see him gone.

Seems like Allardyce is the favourite to replace him. Don't see them promotion the assistant to take over.

Really hope they don't get Sam thou.... He did save Sunderland and Palace recently. I don't mind seeing them reglagated this season. Heehee!

Missing the transfer season by fourteen seconds has probably cost him his job. Not only are they a player short, but the owners are paying wages to a player they can't use. It's easy to see why they've lost confidence in him with the team sliding down the League.

Seems the no.1 target now is Dyche.

A decent pay day for him if he chooses to move. Burnley are doing well so far this season... But £2M a year is kinda hard to turn down. That would atleast triple what he is getting now.

Hes also been mentioned for the Everton and Arsenal job though so he may wait it out.

Which also makes me think Everton might now make a move on the manager front if they think Leicester might get in first.

Dyche is one of the favourites for the Everton job if Koeman leaves so it will be interesting to see if he holds on for that, or if he takes the Leicester job.

He’d be daft to go to Leicester. The club is poisonous, and he’s not going to do any better with them than Burnley (who are also a bigger club imo)

Sure they’d pay him well, but it would be career suicide.

Was that actually Shakespeare's fault? If not then his bosses basically ripped the heart out of his midfield and then failed to replace it...which makes it incredibly harsh to then sack him. As others have said though he probably deserves it after knifing poor old Claudio in the back.

Dyche would be a great appointment for them, but if he's sensible he'll wait for the Everton job.

Coleman? He was an awful club manager and has survived on Bales' coat-tails quite a bit with Wales. I think that would be a poor appointment.

Allardyce? I thought he 'retired'? Why is he now hawking himself about for other jobs?

The one I'd love to see is Ancelotti. Milan aside (where he did very well) he's one of the managers who I think is a good manager of brilliant players, but I'd love to see what he could do with a more limited squad.

I'd like to see Pardew get the Leicester job, purely because it gets him off every live Sky game. Guy is absolutely chocolate!

Perfect opportunity for them to offer it to a young English coach but I bet they won't.

Seen them linked with ancelotti and Mancini. Bit of a joke. They need to aim their sights much lower or go down the route above.

Is chocolate not good? Are you diabetic? Am I just old? When did that happen? Do you have my pills? :(

Ha, point being, he would eat himself if he could. Not many that have played under him will have a nice word to say.
