I've always pictured that Zidane takes on a job in the middle east and one day becomes the new manager for France or Juventus
Can see Zidane taking a lot more than just a year and basically waiting for either Juve or PSG to come calling. If he were to retire with 3 Champions Leagues in 3 seasons thats a hell of a legacy in management.
Yeah I would not be surprised if (when) France fail to win the World Cup he will take the reigns. Or at least that would be his ideal job.

They would have probably fired him next year anyway! Just like ZZ to go out on his terms.

I don't think so given his recent success with the club. things must've gone really bad(like really really bad) if they'd decided to fire him next season

Heynckes was, Del Bosque was, and Ancelotti was let go after winning a bunch of trophies, so it's not out of this world to think that should Zidane have not claimed a 4th successful big cup they would.

Not ''like really really bad" at all. Just another season without the league title and should he not win the CL again. That would be enough. It's Real Madrid after all.
