Surely if he wanted the job he waits a week until after the CL final to see what's happening at Madrid instead of signing the contract?

Fair point. Doesn't mean I'm completely relaxed about it though. If they want him they will pull out all the stops. Hopefully we hear something to put the idea to rest very soon.

If you're not relaxed about him signing a new 5 year contract last week then you'll never be relaxed.

If I was PSG's board i would be pissed... Zidane would fit in perfectly.

I won't be surprise if Wenger gets it. Hopefully he does and wins the double and arsenal fans will regret those wengerout banners.

Can’t see Klopp going there for the same reason I can’t see MoPo going there. Both seem to push for a big team ethic etc. And both seem really happy where they are.

never visited this thread, but sitting here watching Fat Frankie Lampard doing his press conference 18 months after finishing his playing career, must have scummy Campbell wondering where he is going wrong in his interviews:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Whenever I interview people for an important managerial (not football-related) position, one of the things I prize is a curiosity about the world...... Not a smug certainty of one's place in it. Maybe that's where Arsol has been going wrong?

Have I woken up in a parallel world where Harry Redknapp managed Derby???

Hard to see a good fit for the RM job right now. But some big clubs have made some strange decisions lately.

Tuchel seems a really bad fit for the player power at PSG, if they’d waited, Zidane would have been a better fit. Bayern had a whole season to figure out who to get and ended up with Kovac, when they could have had Tuchel or Sarri or possibly Conti.

I think Emery is a decent choice at Arsenal, but they could have had Tuchel earlier lined up or Sarri now if they’d waited.

I think Pochettino would be a bit daft to take the RM job, it’s a poor ideological match. Managing ageing egos really isn’t his thing and he’d have to do the treble every year for three years to be considered a success.

I’m sure he’d like them on his CV at some point, but now really isn’t the time is it?

I know its not going to happen, but i have been trolling my two (idiot) Liverpool friends that RM are going to sign Klopp and they are going mental. So satisfying. They literally gave me a long list of reasons why any manger would want to go there, then i suggested that Klopp could well go, now they are giving me a long list of reasons a manger wouldn't want to go there. Essentially, typical thinking from a liverpool fan. And best of all, Poch just singed a new contract.... this is going to entertain me all afternoon.
Well if he's just singed it he'll be burning it now!

Levy to RM: "You can have Poch, but we get Bale and Ronaldo in return. Oh and you have to pay their salaries for three years too."

I reckon Madrid will go hard for Poch, Marca already reporting it. They always get their man.

Low seems to be one of the favourites as well and he's just signed a new contract with Germany. I'm sure the bookies are just trying to make money from people who don't follow football news that closely.
