I dont think he is either. But the new contract isnt holding him here. We should be worried with or without it as Madrid have the money if Poch wants to go(which I dont think he does)

Not worried about Marca. Its their Job on behalf of Madrid to stir it up.

At the very worst, he leaves next year and they get someone like Wenger in for a season to hold it.

As I posted in the other thread:

We're naturally going to be concerned, but I still don't think Poch is qualified to manage Real yet. They will of course know all about him since we beat them, but at the end of the day, he still has no trophies to his name in his managerial career, he's never even reached a European quarter-final and whilst he wasn't a bad player he was hardly a big name like Zidane that would come in and command respect through his reputation alone.

This is a club that sacks managers like it's nothing, even if they win the title. I'm not at all ruling out Poch going there one day but I'd be surprised if it's now.

Wenger makes the most sense for Real now, they've approached him before, he is available, multi-lingual and would work well as a short term stop gap (do they do long term over there?). Ideally I'd love to see them take Klopp who would then take Salah with him and watch the scousers go into absolute meltdown, but I think he'd like to stay and have one more crack at winning something in England - so perhaps they will go for Wenger for a year or two before moving for him (or maybe Allegri) afterwards.

Regardless of what I said before though, I hope this is resolved quickly as any potential new Spurs signings are going to be asking the question about whether Poch will still be our manager while their job is vacant.

Interestingly, I see Zidane is now also getting linked with the Chelsea job...

Don't think Poch would last 5 minutes there. He's a terrible fit for that basket case of a club.

Can you imagine the ego players after their first pre season double poch session? CR7 would be straight on the phone to Perez lol.

Can you imagine all the white hanky bollocks when he has a bad run?

A manager that requires time and patience at possibly the least patient club on the planet? I just don't see it.

If RM had any sense then surely Poch would be their number 1 choice and yes they do have the finances to pay whatever value to try and get him. As a purist i'd like to think that Poch being the man he is, he will honor his newly signed (ink still not dry) contract but this is a crazy world and football is even crazier so anything could happen........surely though, given all the recent press and hysteria over Liverpool, Klopp is more of a genius than Poch  and so RM should go for him:rolleyes:

I'm not saying he definitely goes or even likely goes. But it's an incredibly tough offer (if it comes) to turn down. If you grow up in Argentina, live most of your adult life in Spain, it is the biggest job there is. And the possibility it never comes up again.

I certainly hope he doesn't go but I'm not writing it off by any means.

Surely if he wanted the job he waits a week until after the CL final to see what's happening at Madrid instead of signing the contract?

never visited this thread, but sitting here watching Fat Frankie Lampard doing his press conference 18 months after finishing his playing career, must have scummy Campbell wondering where he is going wrong in his interviews:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
