Question about the white seats, someone saying we won't put them in until the end of the season as it would "give the game away" but if we were gonna put white seats in surely it would say THFC or Spurs and not a sponsor?

even if it said a sponsor, putting in the blue seats around it would also give the game away.

'Hmm, doesn't that empty patch of stadium where the white seats aren't in yet spell out...?'

If all the seats were blue how hard would it be to put white covers on seats to show a logo when the stadium is empty?
As I've said before, I'm ok with the all blue anyway.

Or the cockerel. I agree, clubs don’t tend to put sponsors logos on the seats do they?

If the stadium was empty why bother? Like one hand clapping. Stadium full you wont notice either. So who gives a fuck?

Exactly, why bother.

Seriously?

Because you see images of part empty and empty stadiums loads- especially nice new ones.- Examples from our current shop:

So let's go with my previous post and put white covers over certain chairs to produce the logos then they can be removed when the logos aren't desired.

hertyid with some slightly out of date naming rights info: I spoke to someone at the club in the BML at Juve game and they said we were still in discussions with multiple possibilities.
My guess is a lot of potential sponsors were waiting for CL qualification and things will now progress with much haste..

Cheers dovahkiin but doesn't UEFA disallow stadium sponsor names being used in the CL.?

Yes (except, I think, if the sponsor happens to be a UEFA partner too). But it's still a huge plus in terms of sponsorship value - fans, the media, people on Twitter etc will still tend to use the sponsored name and that's where most of the exposure comes from, the only people likely to even notice that it's not being used are the match-going fans who are a tiny minority of the target audience. Plus it just makes us continually a bigger club with better prospects going forward and therefore a better brand to be associated with.
