@yankspurs

Pepsi all the way dude - the Pepsi Arena is way better than the Coke Arena - hang on actually ... hmmmmmmmmmm the Coke Arena is pretty cool though lets be honest
No. just think of drinks. It’s called a jack and coke(which are very good). Not a jack and pepsi(which is absolutely putrid btw)

I don’t drink much of either, but I’ve never liked the taste of Pepsi. An ice-cold Coke from a glass bottle really is on another level.

Pepsi is too sweet for me, and as @yankspur said, Coke is the only choice with spirits.

Surprised a naming rights deal is yet to be concluded. If we don’t want a full sponsor for what ever reason can we at least go back to call it White Hart Lane
Levy seems to have a price set in mind (rumoured to be 20mil a season) and is holding out for it. No shirt sleeve sponsor yet either.

Spirits is the only choice with spirits, I've never understood why people spoil a good whiskey with anything else.

Can people PLEASE complete their sentences so I know what the fuck we are chatting about - my brain is hurting trying to figure out what the hell a giant sugary shite dispenser is...

Apologies I had to rush my post and I've been offline until today, Monster Energy was the sugary shite, although if they're still under the coca-cola label then them being a PL sponsor may explain it. Although dispenser was a crap choice of wording, I meant distributor or manufacturer)

Apologies for the crap post Mum. (y)

I can’t see us getting a short sleeve sponsor tbh

Sorry to rake this one up again, Levy has said we won't have one until naming rights is agreed. This way the option is there for any interested party & if a deal can't be up-sold to include the sleeve then providing we find the right partner then you can bet waking up with your bum'ole still being where you parked it each morning that DL is going to try and snaffle one.

It seems like almost everything else the party wanting to sponsor the sleeve or the stadium have to fit a certain quality bracket or profile.

Or you're correct, we won't get one because maybe AIA front loaded the renewal (or overpaid whatever we had remaining on that deal) in exchange for soul sponsorship of the shirt for a certain number of years and DL felt that a bulk cash upfront was more beneficial to the club at this juncture than payments spread.

It's all speculation until someone loses a testicle and even then we may never get an answer.

So have we not been able to attract a sponsor to the level as expected, or are we having a year of complete self promotion with regards to the stadium naming rights? I'd be surprised if someone comes in part way into the season

Levy will be asking too much.

I’m “over there” now watching NFL games and, sadly, there has been little or no mention of the game in London and nothing about the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. (It was the same last week - little comment). Disappointing...

What are you expecting? ‘Tottenham Hotspur Stadium’ were possibly the three most used words on commentary during the actual game

You can't have been listening properly. In the week or so before the game I had messages from family over there (who don't know anything about football) saying things like "Isn't Tottenham your team? They were just talking about them on the news" because they kept mentioning it on TV and I believe there was even a special feature on one of the channels showing all about the new stadium and how the retractable pitch works etc. By all accounts (except yours) we got absolutely loads of coverage not just before the game but during it as well.
