perhaps an opportunity due to our stadium being used for NFL

Which might make sense as the NFL team is looking for a new stadium which in turn may bring a new sponsor. Leaving Fed Ex looking for a new opportunity in Spurs

Its going to be a recipe for piss taking if its going to be FedEx. The logo also would spoil the look off the stadium as its too overbearing in this picture

Yeah what we need to find is a sponsor who don't want their logo actually on the stadium.

Or anywhere else.

But are still happy to pay us loads of money.

Not for 150 million. You are talking about negotiating with Daniel Levy for the most modern stadium in London if not the UK
I follow golf more than most other sports and know Fedex primarily from their sponsorship which carries the biggest prize money in golf

I didn't say not to use the logo but there is a concept called subtlety and blending in. You want back your thinking cap?

No way the logo will be 'blended', it's what they are paying for, prominence! Every mock up done by the club for potential sponsors shows the same thing, big logo on the roof and one on the front right of the West stand, they were obviously the areas set aside for branding when the stadium was designed and no sponsor will ask for less... It is fundamental to the 'proposition' spots are putting forward to them.

One would think the sponsor eager to get it sorted ASP and start having the name chucked about. Plenty of publicity and mention to be had during the construction process, they're missing out daily ... and the quicker done the less time for colloquialism to set in.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it won't be a big white bowl with 'FedEx' just stamped on the top.

But whatever sponsor we have will be plastered all over the stadium. Otherwise they wouldn't pay us the money.

We need to accept that and basically sell to the highest bidder.

Companies don't pay hundreds of millions for their logo to blend in.
Then we should get a sponsor with navy blue and white colours on their logos. I hate to admit it but I admire how arsenal has the Emirates blended in their stadium. Its says Arsenal with Emirates fashionably blended in without being over powering. The same could be said about Man City and the Etihad. I can see the "orange" in the Fedex logo being at odds with the colours of the Spurs.

Ryanair would be a good match but knowing our luck it will be easy jet.

Speaking of EasyJet. I had the pleasure of flying with them for the first time in years. The pleasure is in knowing I'll never fly with them again. I honestly believe they have team meetings where they are set quotas for how badly they treat customers.

Jesus fucking Christ. Also, what the fuck have they done to Stansted Airport? It's almost literally become a cattle herding station.

Obviously we'll go with whoever pays the most.

Enjoy the security queue. I was flying at 6AM and despite that there were 1000 people, in a single, single-file queue, that stretched for what seemed like miles. Waited 45 minutes. Just for security. At 5AM.
