So that's 9 for the new season :D guessing DFF will be keen to make it 10!

Shall we have a look at setting it up?

I don't mind fixing it up if someone wants it taking off their hands

Crap, it's that time o' year again is it. OK, priority will be given to returning members as per usual. I'll start sending out PMs to see who's coming back.

I wonder if I'll pick lower down this time - the selector has always given me the second or first pick in the three drafts we've done so far - I'd like to try selecting a bit further down for a change! (It takes the risk off me selecting a duffer like the season LT went rubbish)

Thinking about it for the first time this year makes me ask the question - seeing as we do this every year now, is it worth making this league a 'keeper' league to add some off-season interest? Or experiment with auction rather than snake for the draft?

Just throwing it out there.

If the official SC league is full, my Yahoo league is still looking for members and I've already managed to recruit a few SC'ers so there are a few familiar faces. Drop me a PM with your e-mail address if you want in and I'll dish out an invite.

Thanks

does anyone here follow any college football......we get okay coverage of it here in australia and i mildly followed it last season but i decided i am gonna get into it this coming season.

The games certainly seem to be more exciting and the offenses try more creative plays than in the NFL. The support some of the teams get is crazy. Just trying to get my head around how it all works. The ranking system seems to be a very flaky way of doing things.

In a couple of weeks I'm flying out to Baton Rouge to study at LSU for a year so I'm going to go to some games. I'm having to take a coach from Baton Rouge to Atlanta in order to watch the LSU-North Carolina game (lord knows why this game isn't being played in either Louisiana or North Carolina).

The BCS ranking is not only stupid but unfair. It favours the big teams that play in the big conferences. Regardless of how well Boise State play they will never get to play in the BCS Championship game because they play in the WAC. I hope the NCAA do bring in a playoff system.

Funnily enough I have just been watching some youtube highlights of the 2007 Fiesta Bowl between Boise and Oklahoma. What an outrageous game. I have been reading some previews for the upcoming season and it goes along with what you are saying....boise to have another unbeaten season but miss out on the championship game.

Just completed a draft with another set of friends, we did an email draft on a site created by a friend of a friend, www.goatsport.com I've asked and we could use this site to set up an email style draft if people can't all make the same draft day.

I know from last year I was pretty gutted that I had to do an auto draft !
