Hurrah, you can tell it's NFL season, for I have already had my first ridiculous trade offer from Hutch!

He wanted Antonio Gates, the 3rd ranked TE, and Jay Cutler, the 12th ranked QB. In exchange, he was willing to give me Kellen Winslow, the 7th ranked TE, and Joe Flacco, the 15th ranked QB. What a way to entice me to do a deal, how could I say no!

Quite happy with my draft though:

QB1: Brett Favre
QB2: Jay Cutler

RB1: Ray Rice
RB2: Ryan Mathews
RB3: Marion Barber
RB4: Fred Jackson
RB5: Willis Mcgahee

WR1: Larry Fitzgerald
WR2: Steve Smith (the NYG version)
WR3: Hines Ward
WR4: Lee Evans
WR5: Devin Aromashadu (possibly a good sleeper at Chicago this year)

TE1: Antonio Gates

D/ST: Steelers

K: Jay Feely

is everyone else going to post their teams up for discussion like last time?

QB1: Philip Rivers
QB2: Chad Henne

RB1: Frank Gore
RB2: Rashard Mendenhall
RB3: Matt Forte
RB4: LT
RB5: Chester Taylor

WR1: Steve Smith (CAR)
WR2: Braylon Edwards
WR3: Robert Meachem
WR4: Mike Williams
WR5: Austin Collie

TE: Jermicheal Finley

K: Garrett Hartley

DST: Jets

Not sure really. I like my QB and RB situation. WR situation is pretty much boom or bust, but at least 1 of them should bring home the bacon any given week.

Hutch has offered me DeSean Jackson, Joe Flacco and Jacoby Jones for Andre Johnson. I have to admit I was slightly tempted simply because I love DeSean as he was brilliant for me last season.

QB1: Kevin Kolb
QB2: Ben Roethlisberger

RB1: Steven Jackson
RB2: Beanie Wells
RB3: Joseph Addai
RB4: Jerome Harrison
RB5: Tim Hightower

WR1: Andre Johnson
WR2: Marques Colston
WR3: Percy Harvin
WR4: Santonio Holmes

TE1: Tony Gonzalez
TE2: Heath Miller

D/ST: Eagles

K: Robbie Gould

I'm not thrilled by my team but I'm happy with Kevin Kolb. The guy is either going to have a brilliant season or a very crap one.

Sorry if you thought it was way off.
With the old trades I don't really go on the ratings, I lean more on form and potential.
Flacco does have a lower rating than Cutler and Favre but this season I'd put money on him clearly out performing them both. With Boldin, Rice, Mason and Housh he easily has 4000+ yds and 25+ TD's on the cards and looks more like Rivers.
I try to keep it balanced.

I landed,

Brady
Flacco (A)

Turner
Foster
Best
Portis
Brown (B?A maybe, Portis could be a happy accident and Foster and Best could easily be top10)

Jackson
Welker
Floyd
JJones
Williams (Not sure you could give this an A on name value, but there there could be some fine potential here. 200pts last year in R3 and a #1 WR in R8 :D)

Winslow (B/C late value maybe)

Ravens (B)

Gostkowski (A)

All Good, Although to be fair we all have decent sides.

Just bought NFL gamepass from NFL.com

Want to be able to guarantee I can see my Titans play, as well as every other game live. Plus it archives every game so I can watch all games on the PC in a sky plus type system.

It was $60 for one month, I'll see how the connection and quality is today and the rest of the month and decide whether I go for the whole year.

Interesting results.

Foster looks good for the texans, but then the Colts run D was woeful, so will have to see how he gets on next week.

My Titans easily beat a completely disorganised Raiders team. CJ looks like he might have a monster year again if he can stay fit. How the Raiders can come into the first game of the season not knowing what formations they should be in is beyond me. Not to mention the bungled snaps. What do they do in pre-season?!

The NFL gamepass is excellent, the stream is completely smooth and very high-res if you have a stronger connection than I do. You can see all the games live, or watch them anytime later in the week and skip through like sky plus. 2 games simultaneously worked fine, but my internet struggled with 4 game split screen.

I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to follow their team or watch the majority of the NFL this season, without having to worry about dodgy streams before kick off.

I don't think i'd pencil anyone in for the superbowl, from those opening day showings. Brady and Forte both looked sharp. Hasselbeck played well in the 2nd sky game. Otherwise, Taking out CJ and Foster, all rather rusty.

Total disaster this week, went with Favre over Cutler as he had a more favourable match up. Favre ended up with 1 point thanks to 3 interceptions, Cutler racked up 29 points on my bench. Ryan Matthews ended up with 2pts as he had an injury. And Hines Ward ended up with 9 yards and no points as the steelers have no QBs left...

However, the Steelers D was amazing this week, 25 points being my best scorer aside from cutler. 3 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles, a kickoff return and 11 points against - it would have been even better if they hadn't conceded a late garbage TD!
