Alex Smith a bump up too
True. Although I'd warn against looking at Smith's numbers last year while making rankings for this upcoming season. He's a solid QB, but his deep ball last year was an outlier because of Tyreek Hill's unique skill set.

I'd suspect the 'Skins will be a more methodical offense, looking to sustain long drives with 1st downs rather than splash plays.

Smith does have sneaky rushing production (like Andy Dalton, just better) so that can sometimes offset his cautious nature when passing.

Alex Smith threw the 2nd most passes of his career and finished top 5 QB. 7 out of his 9 years he has has a top 7 defense so he hasn't had to throw much but last years Chief's D was the worst of his career -> he had the best fantasy year of his career. The Skins last 4 years they have had bottom half to bottom 5 defense in the league, thus inflating Kirk Cousins pass attempts ergo Alex Smith will throw more again this year, raising his numbers. He has actually above average rushing upside in his numbers. He was one of 5 QBs last year to put up QB1 numbers in half or more of his games.

Love Alex Smith. QB1 again this year if he stays healthy

"QB1" is among the larger misleading titles in fantasy. QBs, for fantasy purposes, aren't much more difficult to find than WR3s or TE2s (outside of 2QB or superflex leagues).

I would never target Smith as my primary QB unless I was intending to stream my QBs on a week-to-week basis.

which is a great strategy

And by "targeting" him, you're getting him the the 11th round ADP. Pair him with Winston when he comes back and you're set.

Agree QB1 doesn't matter unless you're in those leagues as 20+ QBs are capable of putting up great numbers in a given week. I do like 2 QBs leagues for that reason.

Yep. I'd happily pair him with Winston, Ryan, Carr, Rivers, or anyone else of that ilk. Less so with Dalton Trubisky, Manning, or Prescott.

Come to think of it a Smith/Dalton duo in a single QB league is an intriguing late-round approach, and a really interesting best ball duo.

Let me know if you’re still in for fantasy football and a preferred draft date/time.

Cheers.

Just got off the phone with Daniel Levy and Elton john. They refused to move the Watford game, even though our yearly draft has been in place longer than Watford have existed.

So the draft is later. :cautious:

If you’re not already in the league, PM me if you can draft on Sunday (7:30 bst) for fantasy football. I need two people. Otherwise we’re cut down to 10.

Im officially done with the Raiders, seriously fuck them

After years of torment, they fucking get rid of one of the few players that actually worked out for us

The fact that Carr has been given a huge contract, Gruden has been given a huge contract and Mack the only player ever to be selected first all pro for two different positions

You just don't trade away future HoF pass rushers in their prime end of.

If our season goes awry early on then expect dissent in the camp because if I was a player seeing this move i'd be thinking this isn't a franchise that's looking progressively regardless of the move to LV.

Sigh....
