Aaron Rodgers could barely stand in the pocket yesterday, coming back only because Kizer went down and was fantastic. Incredible.

So, for the uninitiated, what's the difference?

In the NFL overtime starts with a coin toss and if team 1 with their first possession scores a TD on the opening drive they win the game. If team 1 only scores a field goal then team 2 gets possession and they can win with a TD. If no one scores or they only score FGs to tie then the teams keep playing. If no team breaks a tie after 10 mins then the game ends in a tie unless it's a playoff game then it continues until there is a winner.

In college football team 1 starts on the 25-yard line and after they've either scored or turned over the ball team 2 gets the same opportunity from the 25-yard line. If the score is still tied after team 2's possession then they have to play another period of OT. If the game goes into a third OT, they can no longer kick extra points after TDs and must attempt two-point conversions.

The NFL's overtime tends to be cautious because field position is so important (last night Pittsburgh and Cleveland punted four times in OT), whereas field position doesn't matter in college football overtime as they're already in the redzone so the teams go for it.

The Bears were 1.04 on betfair at the end of the third quarter. Was just about to lay them then didn’t for some reason. Absolutely kicking myself.

There were some positives but our second half performance is unacceptable. The only thing that is making me think positive is that Rodgers is the best QB in the league for winning games on his own, so we won’t have to face him again until the home game (by then he will be out injured).

Mitch needs to have a good season, started ok yesterday but rapidly went downhill.

Home to Seahawks on MNF, must win already, don’t want to be 0-2 because then it will just be same old.

Seahawks better win that or I'm giving up on NFL haha.

Wilson was shite yesterday, more often that not I just see him scramble around then dropping 10 yards back or getting sacked. Then again no runners although whats his face Dissly looked promising.

Sam Darnold is perfect for the Jets.

Edit: Damn it, Darnold. You and the Jets are meant to be a joke.

Not a promising start for the Gruden era - Carr once again failing to get the WR's into play although admittedly covered by Talib and Peters well and relying solely on Cook who had a real nice stat line to be fair. He needs to justify the huge outlay on him and find a way to discover the 2016 form because from what was presented yesterday just isn't acceptable to someone who was at one stage the highest paid player in American football.

Defense did a decent job in holding Goff at bay first half but ultimately it was telling that we got picked apart second half and couldn't lay a glove on him - if only we had a massively talented pass rusher.....

Gruden had a go at Carr today, rumours are that they will try to get rid of him at the end of the season

Gotta feel sorry for the Browns kicker. A lot of entertaining early games.
