Yet again we make it to the super bowl....our actual season starts in the bye week of the playoffs.

I hate the matchup against the Rams but i feel like this may be Brady's farewell and an inspired Brady is enough to keep us in any game.

Kinda figured Patriots would win. Said Rams and Patriots for a while. Think it will be a good game, perhaps Bradys last?

Although he did say recently he thinks he will play on but why not go out on a high if they win.

That'll go down as one of the biggest officiating errors in recent NFL history. I suspect it will result in pass interference penalties being reviewable starting next season. It's always the stuff in the playoffs that leads to the rules being changed.

This. I'm struggling to think of a worse officiating call off the top of my head. He doesn't even attempt to disguise it either, his eyes are on the receiver the entire time. You know exactly what he's going to do before it even happens, so it wasn't even a subtle thing you might miss in the heat of the moment. It was completely telegraphed and blatant to everybody with a set of eyes except the referee apparently. How on earth that's not interference is just beyong belief.

Just to echo the same sentiments, that non-pass interference call that ultimately cost the Saints was diabolical and completely inexplicable how it wasn't picked up from any official.

It was a textbook example of defensive pass interference and at that stage of proceedings in the NFC Championship game no less, it leaves a real bitter taste in the mouth.

the ref that blew the call probably wants to crawl in a hole and stay there for about 6 months. if Im the Saints Im livid but they did have the option of playing defense with a three point lead and 90 seconds left and they chose not to exerciser that option.

But yeah it is pretty nice. It is weird, quite a few NFL team uniforms I like, Saints, Seahawks, Bears, Broncos.

I feel bad for the head official who gets all the blame for this when it's his job to watch the quarterback. It's like when an assistant ref blows an offside call in the World Cup and the center ref gets the headlines.

Yeah it is a nice stadium.

Harry is like our overseas brand awareness manager tonight. Think he has done interviews with BBC, Sky. Had breakfast with JJ Watt, met the Patriots owner....

Anyone else have a sneaking suspicion that Kane deliberately injured himself so he could go to the Super Bowl? I can see him being the new Clive Allen in 10 years time. ?

Prices at the Super Bowl: $5 (£3.82) for a beer, $2 (£1.53) for a refillable soft drink and $2 for a hot dog.

Bet Levy makes sure that pricing doesn't happen at our stadium.

Just switched on for my annual Super Bowl “watch a little pre match build up, the performance of the national anthem, first 10 mins of the game and then go to sleep” experience.

And as usual haven’t got a fucking scooby what they’re all talking about :D.
