Wonderful memories as a young child. It really is difficult for younger supporters to appreciate what England versus Scotland meant to both nations back in the day. The crowds at Hampden were always far larger than the 120,000 that was announced because dad's would take their kids and lift them over the turnstiles. I can remember watching on television and you would see the marching band with the pipers before the game and even as an English supporter it would stir you and get the heart pounding. Goodness knows what the Scottish players felt in that cauldron with those supporters behind them. I shall be watching, cheering on England and recalling all those past great encounters between the Auld Enemy.

I was lucky enough to meet him and shake the hand of big Chiv at a legends game a few years back. Top man.
