the club is running a fine line now with the pricing point on the tickets.

supporters will pay the prices ( a lot begrudgingly), the seats will sell.

however, the supporters will demand a lot more in return, in terms of performance on the pitch, player recruitment, keeping our best players by paying what our rivals pay etc.

the official party line from spurs for many a year has been "we cant pay the wages or invest in players the way some of our rivals can due the size of our stadium".... well, that has changed now.

if the upward trajectory the club has been on for a few seasons is not sustained and we are still paying these sorts of prices, I can see the mood souring very quickly. lets be honest, if performance drops.. season ticket prices are not likely to follow suit.

on the flip side.. the club has to finance the stadium. its not all paid for. its borrowed money. and the club will have had to show they can afford to service the debt it has taken on from its creditors - future TV revenue and prize money are not "guaranteed" sources of income - tickets sales, to a certain extent.. (baring a mass exodus of fans from attending games/corporate hospitality) is...

its certainly not a nice pill to swallow... but I don't think there is a lot we can do about it.

We are all going to renew in our group, although two have said they will get memberships after the first season back and then pick and choose the games they go to.

Not sure what the availability to members will be but it was straight forward to get tickets to all games before the ballot season (assuming you were happy to wait in the donut of death).

Downsides - With the increased number of season tickets, it is unlikely that members will get access to any semi final/final tickets in the future.

Near impossible. 42k season tickets and only a 32.5k allocation(IIRC) at Wembley. Chances of 9.5k people not wanting a semi final/final ticket are extremely remote.

Never in doubt that I will renew, just a question of where.
The dearer the ST the dearer all ‘extra’ games will be - CL (if we qualify) cup games etc, so some thought required.

With so few concession tickets available I suspect I won't have a choice when my window comes up. I overstretched this year to guarantee myself a ticket but it may have been in vain. Still I have this year enjoyed some great games and Wembley is generally a more accessible venue for me so at least I have had a season ticket once

And I assume the 8K corporate will get dibs on those first, leaving just 24.5K for season tickets.

all the non blacked out areas have concessions, don't seem very limited to me.

That's a semi final allocation. I'm sure the allocation for the final is less.

Box holders will also get 13% of away tickets. They currently get 9% and don't need loyalty points. Only money

But by the time window 7 comes around all these cheaper tickets are liable to be taken. Also some concession areas are only available if you have a junior with you and I think some are in areas that might become standing

Well done! I'm phase 1 so waiting for Monday,

Did you go onto the general ticket office site or did you have to wait for the email to go to a special ticketing site for season ticket?

8 of us in our group. 2 of them are newbies, ST holders this season only, so wasn’t expecting them to be seated with us as when the sales process started.

The rest of us (6) have all had our season tickets for between 14-25 years. Our LP range from 306 to 525. Always renewed on time yet 2 of us are ‘phase 4’, 1 ‘phase 2’ and 3 ‘phase 1’. 1 of the phase 4 lads did have a name change on his ticket but that was 14 years ago and he has 462 LP.

We were all hoping to sit together in block 209 or 205 but that seems unlikely now due to the varying phase sales. I have emailed the club regarding this and await their response...
After days of emailing & calling the ticket office managed to get it sorted this morning. 3 of our group was moved up to phase 1 with 1 remaining at phase 2 as he was a few points short of the 310 point threshold. Gutted for him as he’s been a ST holder for 25 years but due to work commitments can’t really do as many aways as he would like to....

I was waiting for an email from the club at 8am. But they didn’t send me anything at all.
So at about 9am I phoned 11 times, and eventually got through.
I said that I didn’t get an email to notify me of my sales phase opening, and was told “What email!”
So unless I’m being a complete simpleton? As I understood it, there would be a special ticketing link within an email, but I haven’t received any mail from the club today, at all.
So it’s all a tad confusing at the moment.
I wish now, that I had started phoning them at 8am. I might have got the exact block that I wanted.
But I’m happy anyway, can’t wait to get Wembley out the way, and go back home.
I live in Leicestershire these days, so getting to Wembley and back, every week, has been a total ball ache.
Juventus took me 4 hours to drive home :(

Fuck sake. So for all the hysteria (rightfully so) about the increased prices, no one actually complained to the club? Have I read that right?

That's how it reads. If that's the line the club are peddling, then it's an absolute joke. Just looking at the responses to any of the season ticket/stadium tweets from the official twitter account, it's explicit in the criticism of the pricing.

Bunch of ****s.
