Unless I'm really certain of a result (if that's possible) I bet small amounts and spread the bets. It seems to be working as I'm gradually inching ahead.

Can't see Robbo doing it again!!

First time on here, so put all 500 on four home wins in the Uefa cup tomorrow. I think it's a fair shout, but as long as we win that's all that matters.

COYS.

Right, i've settled the bets as they should have been settled and credited your vAccounts accordingly. Sadly, most of those who were paid in error have already spunked their ill-gotten gains on other bets already. Not to worry. I'll be clawing it all back by hook or by crook.

Sorry dude, but no vBookie from me for the next 9 days. I'm so fucking busy at the moment. I have work in 30 mins, then tomorrow I'll be running around like a blue arsed fly getting ready to go to Cornwall the day after tomorrow, where I'll be for a week. No computer there :-(

At the end of the football season, I tried for a couple of weeks but events weren't getting very much support at all, with perhaps 2 or 3 people having a punt and on some events, none at all.

If events were better supported, there would have been as full a programme of events as possible, with Tennis, Cricket, Motor Sports etc all getting a crack.

Anyhoo, it does take a fair while to get these events posted and when they are, it needs people to put a bet on. Seems unless it is Spurs, people don't wanna play, which baffles me as it is FREE.

fair enough, no point doing it if its a waste of time.

how long does it take to put up a book for an event?

I accidentally settled Venezuela v Uruguay as a draw, the result of thier match on 3rd July. It took a while, but I deducated the 'winners' the appropriate amounts and settled those who should have been winners accordingly.

Apologies for any confusion.
