vBookie is your virtual gambling emporium where vCash can be won or lost on the outcome of specially selected events. So far we have run a couple of tests on a couple of football matches but other sporting events may be considered from time to time.

You start off with a balance of 500 vCash credits, which you will see underneath your username when you make a post. If you recklessly lose the lot, you are automatically awarded 100 credits to try to build your balance back up with.

vBookie event threads will have a blue $ sign next to them, simply click on that thread and you will be given wager options and odds for that particular event, all you then have to do is make your bet!

Some events will allow multiple wagers, others will not. Odds will be taken from one of the bookies sites, we won't be searching for best odds available, so please don't be whinging if the odds are greater on Betfair etc!

Please remember, that this is for fun only, use it right and you'll get plenty of enjoyment playing!

Everyone reset to 500 and Christophe and A&C can both post new events now.

Make sure you look carefully at the odds guys and make sure they're realistic values and that no one can bet on all of them and end up in profit.

Cool idea! The new SC rocks!

Errr.... I just realised that the decimal odds are wrong! I don't know if you guys can actually get access to them or not, but basically they need to all be 1.00 greater.

Check out any official gambling sites to check it, but you can trust me! The calculation should be:

Stake x Decimal Odds = Return

The odds are fine. The decimal conversion in brackets is profit per unit staked and so does not include the stake.

Now hurry up and lose your 500 credits please.

i think there should be a leaderbord for V credits somewhere? is that hard to do?

there is a small leaderboard under the vbookie tab that shows the richest 5 or so people (me being joint 1st  ), but a leaderboard where it showed top 50 or 100 would be pretty sweet!

I think this is a really good idea and when used can have a good bit of banter but its getting ridiclious with all the gams you can bet on -is ot not possible to limit the amount of games per week etc -each time i look there is a new thread starting and im cant keep up with them i dont know what ive bet on and what i have not and then before i know it there is another one up, plus a special etc etc . .

RE: Gump

If it were a real bookies then there would be so much choice. More than you could wish for. I don't see why it's a problem here.

New threads will go up every day. I understand what you're saying, but the idea of betting is to not bet on everything. You don't have to bet on games as soon as they come up. Wait until there are 5 or 6 running and then pick.

I understand what you're saying though mate, although i don't agree with it.

Also, you never have to lose track of your bets. Click on the vBookie link and go to 'Your Bets'. There you can see all of your bets, open and settled
