Should aim for the top. But if we finish in champs league again, will be even bigger than last season. And huge for us as a club

We had a real shot last year and blew it but looking at the bigger picture playing CL footy in our 2nd to last year before new stadium is massive. If can do it again or look like we're going to do it again then the negotiating position on all sorts of deals (including players, youth players) will be massive.

Somewhat perversely it doesn't really matter how we do in CL (going beyond groups would be nice) but a couple of glamour ties would be useful to put us back in the limelight

We are actually already in the world's premier club competition and CL has just become the icing, from a financial and fun point of view. Being in it a couple of years in a row will transform our finances going into the new stadium

It's going to be a great season and God knows who will finish where. My gut feeling is that citeh will win and we'll finish top 4 as one of the two 'continuity candidates'.

Enjoy the ride !

You just can't say...

But at this point I'd guess the table will be something like:
1. Man.City
2. Man.U
3. Arsenal
4. Tottenham
5. Liverpool
6. Chelsea
7. Leicester
8. Wet Spam

We have a chance this year. We've made what look like astute signings and have an already well drilled and balanced squad who know how we play.

Chelsea with no Euorpe and L-Pool 2nd season under Klopp could both be dangerous but I can't see past the Manc clubs with Pep and Mouriniho in charge.

Who knows, Mabye Hull will win it this year.

COYS! Believe. This year will probably be harder but then again we should perform better than last year especially with good new signings.

Dare to do, dare to dream.

Why don't we add a poll and everyone votes who will win it this year.

I said in the last couple of months last season that this has to be our year as we will never get another chance like this when all the usual suspects went missing. Well it didn't happen and with the main sides having top new managers and money to burn it wont happen this season either or in fact for many seasons to come. Last year should have been our year and it wasn't.

All this talk about the top sides will need time for the new players to gel is not going to happen. If they were buying young players with potential possibly but these are experienced internationals that will settle in straight away.

If you think we will finish above City, Utd or Chelsea then you can think again. 3 top managers all with a desire to win bringing in world class players it's not going to happen. Then of course there's Arsenal who ever they bring in if any it wont matter as they will finish top 4 again and above us, just look at what happened last season.

I don't think Everton will finish above us or Southampton or West Ham but they will make it hard for us, but I do believe Liverpool with Klopp now settled in will. So that leaves us at best 6th. Also when you think that we supplied half the England team for most matches I think many of our players are going to be a little stale.

I would be interested in anyones opinion on why they think I'm wrong.

I'm still upset on how we blew last season, our best chance ever.

P.S
I will make a prediction that Ibrhimovich will fail at Utd and will clash with Mourinio and very possibly walk out as that is two ego's that cannot work. I'm surprised that he bought him in the first place. He will probably score a sensational goal that will more than likely be goal of the season but that is all and will spend more time on the bench.

Ibrahimovic scored 25 goals for Mourinho when Inter won the title. They know how to work together.

I think that table looks about right. Maybe stick Everton below Chelsea and drop Leicester and West Ham to 8th and 9th respectively. Southampton could push both of them further down too.

I think KDB is going to tear the league up this season.

I just hope we do better in Europe this year (English teams). Sick of la liga dominating.

I think we're the dark horses for the title this season. We have the youngest squad and after falling short last year we'll be even more hungry. I just hope our English players start well after such a poor Euros and we will miss Dembele at the start too. Kane will need to get off the mark early I think to get going but who knows Janssen could hit the ground running.

I don't know how people can write us off before we've even begun. I guess that's just the negativity of some of our more pessimistic fans. It must get pretty depressing being that critical of the team you support. I'm sure Spurs chat will be a bundle of joy again this season with all the moaning when things don't go well.

How many years ago was that though?

I think we could be looking at one of the lowest points totals for whoever wins the premier league this season, there are just so many teams who, on paper, are capable of taking points off of each other and I don't see any team as being massively better than anyone else in the top 5-7 clubs.

Ibrahimovic still looks very strong. The front 6 for Utd. Could be very dangerous, especially with Rashford.

This will be the most competitive league ever i reckon, hopefully get to the knockout stage of the CL but as for the EPL i think 5/6th is our natural position.

After supporting this team for 25 years you start getting your guard up. I thought we would finish 5th last season and had -by far- the best season as a supporter last year.

I think Man Utd, City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal will finish above us next year.

And I will still support Poch and all the players.

Just want to win a cup again.
