So in essence we need 1 win and 2 draws more than Leicester for the title, if goal difference in our favour.
At least the two draws should be fine ...

I still think people are getting really carried away. The media might try and tell you that the title race starts in Feb but that's nonsense imo.

For what it's worth I'm still convinced Arsenal will win the league.
Surely the title race started when the season started.

City, Goons, Man Utd & West Ham games are the crucial ones I think. 9 or 10 pts from these & we will be guaranteed top-3 at least. No point worrying about the title until April. I would like a trophy whatever happens.

Weve got 13 league games left, maybe the same again in the cups so its VERY early days in terms of the run in.

My own belief is that although we are in a promising position we haven't done anything yet. Indeed I think the hard work is only just starting now, when you look at some of the fixtures we have left (starting with City), the added pressure to games, and that the Europa League is starting up again. One game at a time.

Before the season all I wanted was clear progress. I wasn't even that fussed about top 4 I just wanted to feel some passion for the team again. The last few seasons have left me so detached from the club due to the personnel we had sucking the life away - Timmy was right was he questioned player desire. It can't be understated the effect poch has had, building the team as a collective, giving them the strength in mentality, turning them into winners - I think we have as much if not more of a chance of doing it, only Leicester (fuck Leicester) can match us for desire and hunger. People talk about quality of Arsenal and City shining through - but we have quality in abundance as well as the attitude. We are well in this, and even if we do fall short this season I'll enjoy the ride as we are light years from 18months ago, and imo not even close to hitting our potential ceiling.

A five point gap over 13 games is nothing. As far as I am concerned the top 4 are toe to toe

My totally unbiased neutral opinion is that of the 4 we are probably all things considered the best team in the league.

I don't think we will win it

At the moment we are certainly in the race and at the moment we are as good as any team in the country

We can do it, I don't think we will but we are capable
Can you name 2 better teams than Spurs 25 game into the season?

Completely agree. Think as a first X1 team we are the best. Leicester will be very hard to beat though

Let's not get stressed or carried away until we are actually on the very top. This very second, we are 2nd in the league. That alone is outstanding, and worth fighting for. Maybe we win the title, maybe not. But for the immediate future, tightening the grasp on 2nd is the most important thing.

I think 1 club is evident. Leicester has been better from start to this point in the season. They simply have been. They win more, loose less, score more and they beat us. To win the title, that's what must change. We must become better than Leicester. Which we are not at the moment.

Not with Spurs it doesn't.
Doesn't matter what team, every single game and every single point won during a season contributes to where you finish in the league, this idea that games at one point in the season mean more than another is purely an illusion, the race for the title is between 20 teams, but it's a marathon and not a sprint, we're going well in the chasing pack, just need to have the stamina to stay there.

You cant aim to tighten your grip on second.

What's that even mean? Win nearly as many, but slightly less, than top. But a little more than 3rd.

That's quite a specific remit
